Best Doctor
Dr. D'Souza has been my doctor for about 8 years. She is kind, compassionate and always available if needed by phone. My dad was in the hospital and she came every single day to see him. She always remembers little facts about her patients and asks what is going on with them.

Sharp, Down to Earth Doctor
After several years experience, I've found she is very approachable, quite competent and relatively easy to get an appointment with when immediate attention is needed. Support staff is also quite friendly and accommodating. One caveat is that you have to be proactive in asking what you want, for she tends not to upsell or recommend procedures for which there isn't a clear need.

Cooperative & Competent
Been seeing her for 3+ years. Always very accommodating, down to earth and straight forward regarding her findings and recommendations. She never tried to upsell and works with patients to find the most appropriate & cost effective approach. Went through 4 other primary care physicians before finally finding her.

Very good Doctor.
My husband and I have been going to her for a couple of years. We can always get an appointment. She always listens to us and remembers what’s going on with our health. We each have recommended her to friends. They also think she listens and helps them.

There are much better Providers
I was not impressed one bit once you get by her friendly attitude. That is all an act and she will bill your Insurance Company at the highest level of care. All of her OV's she will use CPT Code 99214 which is for an established Patient 30-39 minutes face to face visit. Her visits are rushed, she has poor handwriting and uses Rx Pads for Lab work, unlike computer generated Labs by every other Office in town. The Dx codes don't match the Labs ordered and Quest goes crazy. They try to call the Office for clarification but nobody answers!

Dr DSouza has been treating my mom who has multiple serious health problems for a few years. She is an excellent, knowledgable doctor who has literally been a lifesaver for my mom. I would also like to mention that she is compassionate and caring. Oh! and very energetic. I would trust Dr. Raynita DSouza and her husband Dr. Melwin DSouza with my healthcare and my life.

This woman is nothing but a pill pusher. She treats the symptoms with more and more meds, but never addresses the underlying problem. Went to her for years and she never ordered bloodwork or did a routine physical. She simply does not care. We have switched doctors and the new primary was appalled at the medications. She is extremely irresponsible in the medications she prescribes.

Great physician, caring and actually listens. Unfortunately, her staff couldn't care less! In trying to get results from "emergency" bloodwork, the staff has given me several different times over the last two days to call back, then only to tell me that the results weren't in! Funny though that the first time I called, two days ago, they said the results WERE in and the doctor just had to read them! She's great, the office personnel are AWFUL, uncaring, lying substitutes for humans who simply do NOT want to do their jobs but spend more time thinking of ways to keep from doing such! She has been my physician for almost 6 years, but since this is yet another repetition of poor patient service, I feel that I need to find a different doctor who's staff actually gives a damn! Sorry Dr. D'Souza!

Nice doctor, but if you cannot reach her for a response and do not get call backs after leaving repeated messages when there are problems with medication side effects, etc. then in my opinion, not a Dr. you should stay with long term. It's a real shame that she has too many patients and has overworked/overwhelmed/unsupported staff who are unable to keep the offices running properly. My experiences were in the Naples office. It sure is hard to find a good Dr. who also has a good office staff.

I spent the past year with chronic foot pain and she just kept giving me an anti-inflammatory. She finally said I should get an MRI, but didn't put through the info to my insurance, so they refused it. I even had my insurance call them to verify everything, but she wouldn't even talk to them. Every visit, she was in a rush, had no recollection of previous appointments, and was generally unhelpful.

Dr. D'Souza herself is not the problem. She is a good doctor. The office staff is horrible though! It is pointless to call the office because nobody answers the phone & there is no callback on messages. There is a sign at the front desk that basically tells you your perceived "stupidity" will not be tolerated. All of the staff I have worked with at this office definitely makes you feel like a name not a person. I hate saying this because Dr. D'Souza is great, but her staff is awful...
