I saw Dr Rock this week. After reading the reviews I was a little leary of my appointment. However, I found him to be kind and listened to my issues. He explained things in an understandable language.

Dr. Rock was excellent. He assisted my injury and stitched me up, with very little discomfort. No scar form the stitched. Thank you very much.

The Reviews Are True
I thought surely the reviews I read about Doctor Rock and sleep habits were false - not so. He gave me a quick exam, said my ears and throat were fine and then went into a discussion about sleep habits! He said it was wrong to sleep on my side and I should sleep on my back. Not so good after lumbar fusion. Other articles say back sleeping is bad for your ears! Looking for good ENT in Butler County, Oh.

Very disappointed, no help
Saw Dr Rock Feb 21 about pain and pressure in one ear after having flu and lingering cough. He looked at me for 10 seconds and them went into a 10 minute infomercial about CPAP machines and subscribed a sleep study. Subscribed steroids and antibiotics that worked for awhile. Just had sleep study and still have pressure and ringing in my same ear.

Friendly but does not listen, not helpful
Went for nasal blockage and all he did was talk about sleep apnea (already have a cpap) and back sleeping. When he mentioned horses walking on 2 legs he lost me. Prescribed an allergy nose spray but did not address physical growths in nasal cavity. Dismissive of my symptoms.

I was referred by my PCP for a long-lasting ear infection. I was unable to ask any questions about my condition, or to discuss any concerns. All he did was talk about the importance of back-sleeping. He then left the room, and his nurse came in and told me I could pick up my medications. I said, “What medications??” I was left with no instructions other than to return in three weeks for a hearing test, despite my hearing being mostly unaffected. I have never felt more dismissed by a clinician.

Not a fan of this provider/ I went in for an inner ear infection (as a new patient) that I’ve had for 2 weeks with no improvement after two rounds of antibiotics. My ear is still visibly infected. He told me I needed a sleep study that I have sleep apnea and that’s probably causing my ear to be infected since don’t sleep on my back. My visit was a complete waste of time and money and I’m still in pain.

Horrible. Dr. Rock did not listen to my concerns whatsoever. I went in for chronic throat clearing and a feeling that something is constantly in my throat. Referred by my primary care physician. Dr. Rock wants me to do a sleep study, and I said nothing about my sleep habits. He refused to listen to my concerns, but he really loved talking about back sleeping and even said "Cavemen slept on their backs for a reason." I've never visited a doctor who was so dismissive. He talked over me. It was incredibly frustrating. Starting back at square one.

Went with inner ear pressure. Provider recommended mucinex. Condition worsened. Called office to ask what else could be done. Provider said only other option was a tube through the ear drum to relieve pressure. I went to another provider and asked to try an antibiotic. After taking antibiotic for 3 days, inner ear pressure was gone. Raymond Rock is terrible.

SUCKED - went there for a blockage in my nasal cavity that had NEVER been there before and I’m 51 years old and all he cared about was referring me for a sleep study at “HIS SLEEP STUDY CLINIC” Now I have to start over and find a doctor who cares about his patient vs his pocket.

I went to Dr. Rock, for a problem with my throat. Didn't look at my throat until I asked him to. Told me that my problems are because I sleep on my side, and I should get a sleep study done. Did nothing for my problem. They tested my hearing, which I had not expected, then Dr. Rock just talked at me for 10 minutes about the benefits of back sleeping. Waste of my time and money.

I had an appointment with Dr. Rock today. He was highly recommended by my GP. Dr. Rock is very easy to talk to. He was checking a spot on my tongue to see if it needed a biopsy. I was happy to hear that he did not recommend this procedure because the procedure might cause more problems than it is worth. He said he can tell it is a benign spot and not to worry. I really felt comfortable with Dr. Rock. He is cheerful, listens, and answers questions.

Dr. Rock helped end our daughter's severe nosebleeds in one visit. We had previously seen a different doc multiple times, but bleeds worsened. Dr. Rock listened to us, explained things, & found a quick solution.

Horrible. Didn't listen to concerns. Promised an incision on an existing skin line to minimize appearance of scar and then missed it, saying later, "it was there when I cut," as if my skin had changed mid-surgery. When post-surgical complications arose, spent all his time minimizing them and explaining how they weren't his fault, rather than addressing them. Rude and arrogant. Horrible surgeon:

If you want a doctor who doesn't want to listen to you Dr. Rock is the perfect choice. I've been suffering from a chronic stuffy nose since 12/15 and at times completely unable to breath. I have went to numerous doctors about the issue. I know it's not sinus or allergy problems, just narrow passage ways. I have told the doctor my concerns and he continues to dismiss them and tell me I'm fine and that I have sleep apnea. He refuses to take an actual look up my nose. I've wasted my time with him

Having nosebleeds with a deviated septum. Went to him for help, would up going through sleep apnea testing, which I told him I did not have. ...my husband has it and I am very familiar with the symptoms. He sent me through the sleep apnea testing "to rule it out" and I was diagnosed with no sleep apnea. Wasted over $200. Still have the nosebleeds and am looking for another dr who will listen to me and help me with my problem.

Dr Rock is a Hero to me. He has saved my Life. He is by far the Best Dr for the Specialty he has chosen....2nd to none. Anyone that would rate him anything less than 5 Stars should look in the mirror and blame the person they see for what isn't right. My experience with the Doctor and his staff was one that only could be described as the Hand of God...and I thank him and his staff from my heart. Thank You Dr. Rock for being there for me!! You are the Best!
