...or maybe I do. Dr Raven couldn't be more charming or have a better bedside manner. Last time I was in there he did a needle aponeurotomy on my right hand to break up my Dupuytrens. It's a painful procedure and I expected it to be. He seemed to wince whenever I did, even though it's expected to be a painful procedure (youtube) because patient needs to give feedback if cutting needles touch nerves. He also did a much more invasive full open hand fasciotomy surgery years ago for Dupuytrens in my left hand. Much longer recovery but happy with results (might go that route again in right hand). I could tell he really cares about his patients. He also seems really busy but I could tell when he was with me I had his full attention. I'm assuming he doesn't suffer fools so maybe there are some "karens" out there. I'm always suspect when I see 5 stars and 1 stars. -dnieto

Dr. Raven was hands down the most arrogant doctor I have ever consulted. I was referred for treatment by my HMO, and waited a while to get in to see a specialist. He was dismissive of the doctor who sent me to him, bad-mouthed the referring doctor's practice (which doesn't make sense - they sent him business?). He lacked listening skills during the appointment and after lamenting that I didn't need to show him the MRI I brought with me, actually consulted it and used it for diagnosis. Honestly, it was a very unpleasant experience due to the arrogant and dismissive manner he showed during the appointment. For these reasons, I don't recommend him.

I went in for what was clearly a cyst on the palm of my hand and was told by two people (physician's asst and the nurse who walked me back to the exam room who hadn't even seen my chart) that I would definitely need an X-ray. There was NOTHING wrong with my bones whatsoever. Even after answering every question and demonstrating the functionality of my hand and that there was no issue with the bones, the physician's assistant still advised taking X-rays. I refused because it very much felt like this was just something they push on ALL patients regardless of the necessity for it or the issue/injury strictly for financial purposes. I was so disappointed because the office had come highly recommended.

It was the worst experience with a doctor of all time. He is a flat out bully. In surgery he was extremely unnecessarily rough, and in his office when asked about why BOTH my hands were not healing properly. He became rude and abrasive. He even stood up and sqaured off with me like a pit bull and the nurses had to come in to calm things down. He tolod me flat out, "I don't like you and go get another opinion". Stay away from this guy as you've been warned!

His office tries to collect your entire deductible even with insurance coverage. Seems like he’s more interested in getting paid than helping people. Won’t see a doctor who is so overtly money driven.

terrible in every sense. typical "processing center". gets you in and out of visits under a minute. gets offended so easily. DOES THE MOST ABRASIVE / money making procedure regardless of patient's specific needs. i walked in with trigger finger on my right ring finger. after his surgery and 24 sessions of therapy, my index finger doesn't even bend all the way to determine if trigger finger has been released. now i also have severe triggering on my pinky and middle finger on the same hand (which i never had before on those fingers). i cannot make a fist nor put my hand flat down. right at beginning of my surgery he complained to the OR nurses twice that they hadn't booked enough time for my surgery. However, he still went on with the surgery rushing through and probably not clearing up all the scar tissues. when i asked him about it at my last visit (specifically in regards to my 2 other fingers triggering now) he simply replied with a smirk "it was gonna happen anyways, it just e

I had a very bad case of locking thumb. The tissue inflamed and irritated. The procedure was fast (about 10-15 minutes) and the relief was almost instant. Post-op pain was not bad at all. Today (3 days later) I am moving my thumb around freely. There is mild tenderness which I am sure will go away totally as the incision heals completely. This was the right decision for me. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Dr. Ravin's staff was very professional and efficient. This is the guy to go

Dr. Raven performed surgery on both of my hands for carpal tunnel and trigger fingers. Both surgeries went well and I had great recoveries. Dr Raven’s staff is excellent and helped me with all my pre-op and post-op needs. I had a very positive experience.

Dr. Raven performed basal joint reconstruction on my hand. He initially suggested conservative treatment and I found very little relief. At 6 weeks after surgery I was able to have much more flexibility and the pain has subsided substantially. I understand that my progress has been pretty remarkable. This is all due to his expertise. I also understand that it will take quite a while to regain the strength in my thumb and forefinger but am looking forward to a full recovery in the coming months.

I HATE TO CALL THIS MAN A DOCTOR. HE DID AN UNNECESSARY SURGERY ON MY HAND AND CRIPPLED ME., THE PAIN IS EXCRUCIATING AND I WILL REQUIRE A SURGERY TO CORRECT THE DAMAGE TO MY HAND. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS BUTCHER. HE SPENDS FIVE MINUTES IN HIS OFFICE AND IS ALWAYS TOO BUSY TO TALK TO YOU. HIS SURGERIES LAST AN HOUR. I HATE THE MOMENT THAT I ALLOWED THIS CREATURE TO BUTCHER ME.

Dr. Raven is for you if: 1) You would rather read brochures handed to you by a medical professional than receive actual information from one. 2) You prefer a doctor who makes you feel like you are one in a long line of patients for the day, thereby ensuring crisp, short visits with minimal verbal interaction. 3) Your preferred form of treatment is no treatment, although you will most likely receive billable x-rays, ultrasounds, etc., just to confirm this decisive plan of action.

I think Dr. Raven comes straight to the point. He is fast and articulate and knows exactly what to do when he has made a decision to solve your hand problem. He will give you step 1, step 2 and then a step 3 if an injection for carpal tunnel hand syndrome. does and doesn't work and the percentages. He also, uses the ultrasound to direct his needle injection correctly. I am an RN and I was impressed with his time management. He directs needed xrays/results/splints to his assistant aides, techs, etc

I came to a hand surgeon for consultation and diagnosis of carpal tunnel. I understand a physician who may consider another diagnosis. But an insulting remark, "you would have to be a mutant to have carpal tunnel" What kind of Dr. says that to a patient? A rude Dr. After completing all tests he ordered the results of the nerve conduction study which stated carpal tunnel was still ignored by this hand surgeon! Obviously self involved, rude and a Dr. who simply doesn't care. Very unsatisfactory

Rude, unprofessional, temperamental man that not only provide any kind of care but asked the patient to leave the office because I wouldn't agree with his illogical explanation of why they couldn't straighten a crooked hand. He didn't even bother to examine the hand.

I would highly recommend Dr. Raven111 he is very knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. He and his staff went way out of their way to help my sister whom had cut off the tip of her middle finger. We were so concerned and stressed but Dr Raven and his staff put us at ease. I'm so grateful and fortunate to have found Dr Raven and would highly recommend him and his clinic.
