Excellent internist. He is smart, attentive, compassionate, and friendly. Top notch physician. A doctor’s doc!

Dr. Mahan is the best doctor I’ve ever been to! He is very thorough, and he listens to his patients. He answers all your questions and addresses all your healthcare concerns. He genuinely cares about his patients! We definitely need more doctors like him. I am very thankful that he is my PCP!

The worst. Absolute worst. After a bad vehicle accident I had major pain in lower back. could not sit for more than 5-10 minutes, could not drive. I explained this, twice. He ignored it, just looked at me. would not do anything for me. i gave up, got a different doc. I've now had radio frequency nerve ablation and my pain level is low. He wasted months of my expensive insurance time. now cannot afford insurance for 2019 and I'm on my own. terrible, go there you'll see.

I would never recommend Dr. Mahan to anyone that I cared about because he is the least caring physician I have ever used and I am old and seen lots of physicians. He is supposed to be a specialists - internist - with more knowledge but he might have the knowledge he just does not know how to use it.

1. Does not respond in a timely manner to calls and/or e-mails. 2. Not enough face-time spend with the patient during office visits. 3. Lack of details regarding diagnosis and associated plan.
