valve replacement and aortic aneurysm
Dr. Dieter replaced my bicuspid valve and the ascending aortic aneurysm. Form the first time I met him I was impressed about this professionalism and honesty about what is going to happen. This was very helpful and made me trust him with my life. During my stay in the hospital I always saw the NP and him on a daily base. Dr. Dieter did go beyond the necessary and tested my "old parts" for bacteria, which were found and now treated. Also, post surgery the office was always helpful and returned my calls in a timely manner. I can highly recommend Dr. Dieter and his team if you are in need for a heart surgeon.

Emergency Bypass for my brother!
Dr. Dieter was quick to except the challenge of a 98% LAD (the Widow maker) for my brother. This is not the first time he has answered my call for help. I've know this incridible surgeon for many years. He is always willing to help. A dear friend with esophagus cancer was placed in his care and after surgery she spoke my name. I could give many examples. Make no mistake, Dr. Dieter is by far the most sincere, caring, talented, and highly capable surgeon. UTMC is fortunate to have him at the regions only Magnet Hospital. Thank you for your continue service to not only my family but for all that seek you out for help. You are one of a kind!

Very professional, good bedside manner, highly recommended, compassionate doctor. I know he saved my son's life and the surgical procedure and recovery are going well. All staff at UTMC were excellent.

Highly recommend Dr. Dieter. Would not ever consider another heart doctor but him. He is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Along with his expertise, he has a fabulous and wonderful staff. A true blessing that he is watching over me.
