Terrible Experiences

Ravi was very dismissive of me. Did not take my symptoms seriously. Made me feel not like a patient but a burden. Could not even make eye contact with me during visits. Dismissed my previous records from other doctors & ignored notes from Physical Therapist. After seeing a new doctor was validated and realized that Doctors at MCBH completely missed my diagnosis and made me feel worthless even though I was suffering and seeking help. Ended up suffering longer because of my experience here. Pay out of pocket to see doctors outside of this place. Ehlers Danlos Syndrome is real and genetic testing IS available and a DIAGNOSIS is necessary for ongoing pain management and care. I was told that there is not testing and there's not point in a diagnosis because there is no cure and was dismissed. I was told 'you are to young to have issues.' I have since been confirmed with EDS via genetic testing and my pain validated.
