Dr. Ravi Raju, MD

We has been trying for Kids for over 15 years now and we over did everything (i should admit). After meeting Dr Raju we realised that sometimes we need to ignore the smaller things in the grand schema of things and concenrtate on the end goal.I see some of the reviews saying that he is very direct but that is something which I liked and realised that is very important to have a successful baby.We went to some of the best doctors in US during our journey who took good care but they were not direct and firm which led to our troubles in having a baby if I go back and think now.If we had met Dr Raju 10 years before I am pretty sure that we would have a 10 year old baby by now.I also need to mention that his has a phenominal team. The service they have offered during our baby girls delivery was excellent.

1st appt with Dr. Raju he listened to what I there for then he proceeded to try and give me hormone therapy instead of the surgery that I felt I needed, as the hormones haven't helped in the past and usually made things worse for me. Day of surgery his bedside manner was so horrible that I almost got up and left. What stopped me was the fact that I needed this done. 3 weeks after surgery I was in for my post-op appt, in a lot of pain (I mean I was crying from the pain, which I normally never cry from pain). He proceeds to do thr exam and I scream at one point because the pain was unbearable, he doesn't finish the exam and proceeds to ask me how old I am, when I respond with my age he replies with "well you're acting like an 80 year old woman. I am now going on the start of year 2 with pelvic floor dysfunction and chronic pelvic pain, which he caused because of his negligence.

Dr. Raju is an amazing doc that addresses all of my concerns and truly cares about his patients. He tells you as it is and does not sugar coat anything.

Dr. Raju is great as long as you agree with him. He didn't like it when I went off the pill and pushed back quite a bit when I wanted to use FAM instead of the pill (the pill was giving me side effects I didn't like, but he didn't let me speak long enough for him to know that). If you want to be on birth control and like to decide exactly which one you want, he's great and will 100% get you the BC you need. He's very knowledgeable! But if you want to use FAM, I would look elsewhere.

Dr. Raju is one of very few physicians that don't spend the whole visit looking at a screen. He cares about women and you have his undivided attention during your visit. Because he cares, he may tell you things you don't want to hear (e.g. lose weight) which I find many providers are afraid to say for fear of poor ratings like these. He has been my OB/GYN for 2 of 3 pregnancies and deliveries (15 years). I would not seek the care of another GYN unless he stopped practicing. I trust him 100%.

If you want a doctor with amazing bed side manner and one that will give you a thorough examination I would recommend Dr.Raju. He's been my doctor for over five years and has always met my expectations.

He is very personable. Take the time necessary for your health needs. Makes you feel comfortable in what could be an uncomfortable situation. Would recommend him absolutely!
