Very bad office Telehealth visit on 10/23/2023- I was told by the office staff that I do not have depression. The office staff states that to me. Never spoke or saw this doctor. Don't go.

05/23/2022 Fred Hashemi, Dr. Goklaney Is one of the greatest human beings and one of the most brilliant physicians I have ever had the pleasure and honor to know. 5 years ago we moved to Bakersfield California. My mother became doctor guklani's patient and he started treating my mother right away. My old man had Passed away and my mother went into a complete psychiatric and psychological nightmare ensuing my dad's passing as they had lived together for 57 loving years. She went into a massive nightmarish PTSD. Dr.Goklaney got involved and started treating my mom. It was not nearly as important about his prescribed medication as it was about how mellow, Kind, Smooth and humane his touch was that helped my mom throw my mom's gigantic ordeal and I am not so sure if my mother would have made it without the help of this great doctor and noble human being. May God bless him and his family and loved ones. May he live a 1000 years just so people could be saved.

To rushed he’s cares me depression but doesn’t care my developmental disorder like learning disabilities and autism.

Rushed. Assumed I was already his patient, but my doctor with the facility left and I was given to goklaney. Between those 2 doctors, however, I had an episode and my medication was increased. He automatically assumed I was on the same low dose (the lowest they'll go, 10mg, a kid dose). I have been calling for almost a month now trying to get that corrected. He has never been available. I have tried 4 times, and was told they would put my message down as an emergency. The last time I was told I'd hear back in 72 hours. Nothing. How is that "caring for the community"? No, I do not recommend him and I'd give him zero stars if I could.

Extremely knowledgeable and comes with years of field experience. We have worked with Dr. Goklaney for over a decade and consider him to be one of the best behavioral health providers in Kern County. He listens to his patients and care providers to offer a comprehensive solution. Very flexible to meet changing health conditions with a great bedside manner. Highly recommended.

I have been seeing Dr. Goklaney for about 10 years now. I would just like to say if it wasn't for him and his staff, I would've committed suicide a long time ago.

Dr. G has been the best doctor ive ever had. For years i struggled with my mental health and suffered so much, but after just a few times seeing Dr. G he has given me my life back. I was able to finish things i never could and got my quality of life back. I highly HIGHLY recommend this doctor to anyone who is struggling mentally or just needs to figure out whats going on with themselves. Dr. G saved my life and he can save yours.

I travel all the way from Rosamond to see my doctor because he is the best in Kern County.

He is very respectful and helpful. He is keeping me stable without any side effects to the medication. He is efficient and respectful of me.

He is the most competent psychiatrist in Bakersfield. Very serene atmosphere. He knows how to get Bipolar stabilized.

Dr. Goklaney is certainly experienced, but he also isn't afraid to interrupt you and tell you so. He is arrogant, a poor listener and will write scripts until he's blue in the face. If all you want to do is take pills, he's your guy. But if you actually want treatment, find someone else.
