Does he really care?
Always seemed to be in some kind of a rush. Seldom made eye contact or truly listened. Asked very few questions as it seemed he was only concerned with making his quick notes on his laptop and getting out of the room.

Frustrated Patient With No Resolution!
2 hr appt! Just to read notes on his laptop and decide that he didn’t know what to tell me or diagnose me with. All he did was laugh and said don’t know what to tell you:/ just do labs and will see . He doesn’t listen or care for his patients. For being a so call Dr . He has no idea what to say :( Total Disappointment! Will be looking for a new rheumatologist.

After previously seeing three specialists, I was referred to Dr. Romea. He and his staff juggled his schedule to get me in to see him almost immediately. Within minutes he made a diagnosis, prescribed a medication and explained what I was going to be taking and why. He answer my questions and had me on my way without ever giving me the feeling I was interfering with his clearly full schedule. Instead of the extraordinary measures the other Specialists recommended plus the MRI I went through, I took his prescription medications and my six months of debilitating pains vanished. Besides all of that, he is a terrific person

Great doctor. Each time I've gone he's made me feel like he was really trying to figure out what's wrong with me. He's always asking me about my symptoms. I would recommend him for sure.

This is the least professional office ever. No call backs, don't pay attention while you are on the phone, the receptionist has even said "I'm busy trying to do two things at once!", No call backs after tests have been completed you have to call back in yourself to verify if the results are in, they tell you to come a half hour before your appointment, of course they don't care that that would be while they are closed for lunch....and don't even think of missing an apt! This place is a joke

Would not recommend this doctor. Wouldn't listen to concerns (although he would ask, he would spend the time writing on the tablet and not making eye contact) and just kept prescribing pills. Inaccurately diagnosed me with the wrong disease, which has taken me several years to re-diagnose with other doctors. Also unusually unhappy staff, long wait times, once it took almost 2 hours.
