He was a rude condescending doctor never wanted to hit a doctor before tell I met him.

Cholecystectomy
Dr. Lugo performed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy on me this summer (2022). Dr. Lugo was very pleasant, professional, and thorough in both pre-op and post-op discussions. I believe I was very lucky to have him available for the emergency procedure during my last and most painful gall bladder attack. I highly recommend him.

My husband was told we would have to go out of town to find a surgeon that was capable of doing surgery he needed. Dr. Lugo happened to move into our town about the same time and was recommended to us. We met with him and he explained the illness and the process in detail. After meeting him, we were very comfortable with letting him do the surgery. He performed the surgery and my husband is doing remarkably well. I, without hesitation, would recommend him to anyone. So thankful he came to our town.

I have been a patient of his for about 10 years and I would definitely have to give him a 5 star rating. He has done surgery on me a couple of times and I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. He is a very good doctor that is truthful and doesn’t sugarcoat things. He tells you exactly what you are dealing with and what needs to be done. I just hate he is moving out of state.

Dr. Lugo spends time with His patients. I was so wonderful to see a physician not on the computer typing as he was with you. He listened, he examined, & he explained in greatest of detail where a patient could understand. If another patient has to wait... this patient in exam room will have the same amount of attention & time with Dr. Lugo. He has been gifted with his skills, abilities & knowledge.

Had to wait three hours before being seen. No explanation from staff as to why or offer to reschedule. when I finally saw the doctor I did not feel that he was listening to what I was saying and when I asked what he thought the cause of my problem was he just shrugged. Felt the entire visit was a waste of my time and money.

My review of 05/14/19 regarding Dr. Raul Logo is a FIVE-STAR review, not a three star review. Dr. Lugo is excellent. My husband Robert has been followed by Dr. Lugo and Dr. Lugo did my colonoscopy on o5/03/19. Thank you for your time and attention with this matter. Meredith D. Byers, Rutherfordton, NC

Dr. Lugo is an amazing surgeon, I would highly recommend him. He has operated on me twice and I credit him for saving my life. The home health nurse said in her 20 years of nursing he had done the best amputation she had seen. He is caring and very gentle. The very best of the best!

he has a HORRIBLE bedside manner, before and after surgery. Showed no interest at all in my concerns and is very rude and rough physically. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. PLEASE find someone else!!

It was a pleasure dealing with Dr. Lugo. He explained everything about the liver surgery and put my mind at ease that I had chosen the best surgeon for the job. His staff was extremely friendly and answered all my questions. Thanks Dorothy and Pam.
