Dr. Raquel Volney, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Volney as my primary for year's now! She is beyond through & takes her time with you each visit. She listens & ask questions. One of the most caring Drs I've seen . You can tell she is in this for the patient ! Would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Great PCP. Very thorough and kind.

I felt like my concerns about mental state and my body were over looked . She basically told me that people have it worse then me . The proceed to say “ your a adult get over your child hood trauma and leave it in the past “ I brought up a concern about my binge eating disorder, and see if she can proscribe me medication to help because I’m “severely obese “ she told me girls that are size 4 have it way worse with the depression and I thought she was going to help me try something to help me lose the weight . SHE DIDNT . All she did was write me referrals and made me feel like all my problems weren’t real problems. This is why I don’t go to doctors because of doctors like her . I will not be returning . I will not recommend ANY of my family to this practice . I told her I still have postpartum and she said why it’s been a year . Are you kidding me . Cried my eyes out after that visit. She’s awful .

Dr. Raquel is always ready to listen to my concerns and answers all questions throughly. She has great communication skills. I enjoy my visits with her.

I had called for a follow-up to a surgical procedure, person at the person making the appointment could not even spell the procedure, mastectomy, the the morning of the appointment her nurse called me and told me for a mammogram I would need to see a physician in Plymouth. Explained or tried to explain to her nurse the reason for my visit, said she would speak with the doctor and call me back. Nurse did call back and said as long as the visit was regarding the breast, I could come in to see the doctor. Sat in the exam room for at least a half hour before the doctor finally came in

Dr. Raquel was super attentive, and showed that she genuinely cared about me without being preachy or condescending (like lots of male doctors I’ve experienced). So glad I found her!

When I arrived, the team at the front desk, was nice. They are very caring.

She is always there to listen! Not too many dr out there that you can count on!

The most incredibly rude and unprofessional doctor I have ever had. Did not review my chart before I arrived, didn’t even realize I had been there the prior year. I told her who I met with before and she said that was a different practice, I informed her he worked there. I think that get her very upset, after a few more questions and a lot of eye rolling told me in her 24 years she had never had such trouble getting a patient to answer simple questions. She was way out of line, treating a 70 year person that way. I will never return to her or that practice.

Dr Volney is one of the most professional and caring physicians I’ve ever worked with. She really cares about her patients and takes immediate actions to help them get better. I’m very fortunate to have her as my doctor.

She's is super down to earth, very caring and she listens. She asks all right questions and no matter the situation works with me/you to resolve any issue. She's so easy to talk to and has the best sense of humor. She's undeniably a people person. She truly cares for her patience. She shares the office with her husband (whom I've not yet met) and all of the office staff are extremely friendly as well. It has never been an effort to make an urgent appointment either. They will do everything they can to make the time. I can't say enough good things.
