Dr. Raquel Gomez-Mora, OD

Honest, Kind, Knowledgeable, understood!

I was assigned to Dr. Gomez-Mora through Kaiser. Scheduled an appointment after a pretty bad knee injury. During the appointment all she did was touch the knee and prescribe ibuprofen. She told me that if I tore something I would need surgery as I got older. Forward a few years... went to see her again as my knee is still giving me problems now more than ever and all she did was give me ibuprofen again. I asked if we can get my knee scanned to identify the problem and she said she knows I have an injury but surgery is always the last option so a scan was not needed. Don't waste your time and money! Schedule your appointment with a different doctor. I decided to call Kaiser and switch to another doctor.

Saw Dr. Raquel Gomez-Mora MD for the first time yesterday afternoon at Kaiser's Indio office. Dr. Armijo, my primary care doctor also works at that facility. I had a telephone appointment with him that morning. He wasn't available for a face to face visit that day, so he asked me to see Dr. Gomez. I was very impressed with Dr. Gomez. We went over the issues Dr. Armijo was concened about. She examined me and told me her findings. She was very thorough. I am on several meds that make me talk very fast and I frequently provide TMI. I told her about this and asked her to stop me if I started to ramble. She listened to me very calmly. She has an excellent bed side manner. I would highly recommend her if she is seeing new patients.
