Dr. Raphael Gabay, DO

Office staff, including office manager, is incompetent. My visit had to be approved via phone, the office manager insisted on doing this online, then told me I was not approved. I called my insurance company and received clarification from the person I spoke with. No apologies from office staff, or manager. The audiologist told me, as did Dr. Gabay, I needed hearing aids. My hearing loss is at 15 dcb and lower. SLIGHT. I got a second opinion, and that audiologist could not believe I was told I needed hearing aids. He also said, if I wanted them, he'd help me. This was a man with severe hearing loss and uses hearing aids. He's in the business to help people. Stay away from Dr. Gabay and staff if you have hearing issues. They're in it to make money.

I am commenting on my surgery care and post op care. Very caring and professional. I needed an urgent care appointment 5 days after due to urinary retention and Dr. Gabay handled it immediately and brought me in. I was so relieved to not have to go to the hospital.

05-2020: Will not go back here ever. I saw him for 2 years. I begged him to do something about my chronic sinusitis, that I have had since childhood, I am 37 now. I brought him lists of all of my previous meds, to prove that I have already tried every nasal spray,antihistamine, monthly preventative shots, saline neti pot. He pushed more sinus sprays and antihistamines on me. It got to the point, where I was having sinus infections constantly, waking up not breathing at all at night, during the day. He insisted nothing was wrong, brushed it off. Reasoning skills would show that after 30 years, something is really wrong. I had to go in a round about way, finally got records that he had for me.In 2017 when I first started seeing him, he wrote down that I had deviated septum, enlarged turbinates, and several other problems inside the sinuses, but led me to believe I was completely fine for 2 years. I was in severe need of surgery. Clearly lacks insight,appropriate care, risked my health

I love my results now I am interested in abs and wondering do he do this kind of surgery but I would love it if I can use the same doctor

Dr. Gabay did my first cosmetic procedure in 2011, breast implants. I am scheduled 7/14/2020 for a tummy tuck & lipo suction. I was referred by my hair stylist and former co-worker. He is a great physician, greats bed side manner, I never felt rushed, and I am more than pleased with the outcome of my breast .

2 procedures done in past so many years. Both fair. Not 100% happy. Both definitely could have been better. Feel I work hard to save $ for the procedures. Take time off work, lose $ for procedures that people don’t even notice I had done? Went to follow up appointments. Expressed my concerns. Told nothing more can b done. Clearly u can see more can b done. Others agree. 7 months after fact going to another plastic surgeon for their opinion. And if more can b done, no hesitation, want to look in mirror and b happy that presently I am not

I’d like to start off my review with thanking the entire staff at Dr. Gabay’s office. I had a great experience from consultation to follow up. Dr. Gabay and his staff provide exceptional care for me. I was a patient 20 years ago for a procedure and I was a patient within the past six months. It was so nice to see the same staff there doing the same things they have year after year. I trust them with myself ,my family , and my friends. I highly recommend them.

I don't know about cosmetic surgeries in that office, but DO NOT GO there as to ENT specialist! Doctor gives the same antibiotic to everyone. Even family doctor makes swab from the throat before prescribing the medications. In that office everything is "much easier": the same antibiotic for everyone. Horrible experience!

Dr.Gabay completed a breast implant removal, lift with no implant, and tummy tuck. He and the staff were awesome and I love my results.

My wife had a operation from this doctor soon after developed infection and the issues with her returned the second dr said maybe unsterile instruments ???

I saw Dr Gabay and had a great experience. All the way from the front desk staff, MA's, PA's, billing and surgery staff. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I never had a long wait in the office. Dr Gabay scheduled me for follow up several times to make sure my recovery was going well and took the time to answer all my questions each time. I never felt rushed. I have noticed a huge difference in the way I look. The changes have made it possible for me to have confidence in myself.

I had multiple surgeries with Dr. Gabay. Extremely satisfied. I have also sent numerous friends to him and they look amazing too! The wait time sometimes can be a little longer than I would like, but he does spend a lot of time with you answering questions and listening to every word you say. He apparently is triple Board Certified in Ear Nose and throat, plastics and cosmetic surgery! that's a lot of training! I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gabay for a breast reduction and liposuction. I was very nervous about having this procedure but upon meeting and consulting with him, I was immediately more at ease. His manner is extremely professional, compassionate, and understanding. He took a great deal of time to discuss my expectations, and explain to me the details of the procedure and recovery. It's only been a week since my procedure but the results are beautiful and have exceeded my expectations.

Horrible experience, my surgery looks nothing like i was told it was going to be, one side of the nose looks like it was done at a butchers house. Stay away from this place dont let their calm maners and sweet talk get you to walk in and get anything done at this place. Very upset at the whole experience.

In 9/2014 I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gabay for a consultation for a Tummy Tuck and Breast reduction. I found him to be patient, honest as to the work that needed to be done, the recovery time and level of discomfort. after having the work done he checked up on me at home and if I called the answering service after hours, he called me back within the hour. the scares were very smooth and neat. the sculpturing of the tummy tuck gave me a nice curvy waist and now my breast are perky.
