I was able to update Dr Longman on my condition in detail, he was kind and reassuring, taking time to provide the additional explanation to clarify my concerns. He conveys his competence with respect and dignity for his patient.

Dr. Longman is an expert in his field of gastroenterology. He listens attentively to his patient and asks pertinent questions. He is compassionate and very easy to talk to. He includes his patient in the decision making process. He and his staff are very accessible and prompt in returning phone calls

I never feel rushed when we have a visit and he is open to discussing many alternative approaches to my condition.

Failed to provide even a single refill of a prescription of which he was fully aware I require (this was after a follow up visit for a flare). I requested the refill through Weill Cornell Connect, which guarantees a reply after two days. I received no reply.

Dr. Longman is personable and seems very knowledgeable. I've been impressed that he personally returned a call to me (on the weekend!) after I left a message the portal. I had some difficulty understanding the communication from a nurse practitioner who got in touch with me and the office personnel (front desk) leaves something to be desired. When I've asked them a question, I have a sense that I'm annoying them. I'm sure they field many annoying questions, but when you're feeling sick, there should be more patience and understanding. All other personnel at Weill Cornell in other offices have been lovely and more helpful. I'm a new patient, but I believe Dr. Longman will prove to be an excellent choice. He is respectful and seems thoughtful. I recommend him!

Dr Longman is the finest gastroenterologist I have ever had the good fortune to go to. After incorrect treatment by others I finally in the right place. His immunology training was also most helpful to me and I am finally feeling much better in his care.
