Nothing special, I didn't see the doctor this time just the staff, but he was available if needed. This was standard post surgical follow up with an X-ray..all looks prefect as it should, the shoulder feels so.mjch better as well and I'm now rescheduled for my next follow up 3 months from now.

Everyone was very efficient and professional Dr Murphy was great at explaining my options.

Dr. Murphy was recommended to get a second opinion and I’m so glad he was! He has excellent bedside manner, is personable and extremely knowledgeable. My only regret is not going to him first.

I need to see my orthopedic physician but, he was out of the office. Dr. Murphy’s staff worked me into see him within two hours or less. I’m very appreciative because I was in a great deal of pain from exercising. The entire staff at the Hughston Clinic is really like family to me. I hope every patient experience is the same as mine.

I had a total shoulder replacement of my right (primary) shoulder in May 2024. I was quite concerned about undertaking the procedure. I had chronic pain that impacted my life over a period of 5-10 years, yet I still struggled with my decision to undergo this surgery. My outcome was incredible and I only wish I had done it sooner! Surgery went perfectly well. There was almost no pain at all, and my biggest worry of the new joint not functioning well was unfounded. I have super range of motion!! The recovery process was better than I could have imagined. Dr. Murphy is an extremely talented surgeon. I highly recommend him for investigating and resolving your shoulder problems. He's got a great care team, too. His physician assistant (Nate) impressed me from the outset. I will return to have my left shoulder replaced soon and I'm looking forward to it with no hesitancy at all. Do yourself a favor and don't don't put-off your shoulder replacement surgery. Go see Dr. Murphy...!!

Dr. Murphy didn’t pull any punches with his description of what was going to be done, how it was going to feel and what recovery was going to be like. He said it, it happened, no surprises.

Things have gone so very well. I'm so glad he and his team have been there for me. My recovery is gone great and I no longer even need rehab. I'm greatful for every one there.

Honesty, good examples and a willingness not to rush

Dr. Murphy came into the room introducing himself with a very friendly smile. It made me very comfortable right away. He listened to me describe my situation with my knee and then advised me of his professional opinion concerning my knee and went over options we could do to fix it. He took his time with me and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. Excellent appointment!!!
