Lacking empathy. An eyewitness.
Having serviced in US Army and working with combat ready physicians I know empathy very well. This guy is probably skilled in his field but his bedside manners are lacking. He needs challenged and someone other than me will confront one.

Without question, a definite class act and I felt
I felt I was in good hands and the doctor listened and remembered details of my symptoms. Scott was also very valuable in taking good care of me. When I asked for his opinion I felt like I was dealt with honestly and competently. Office staff seemed to have a great awareness of my needs.

Very personable
I was referred to Dr. McCafferty because of my lower back problem. I was afraid he was going to be like most doctors; condescending and arrogant...Be he was NOT. Dr. McCafferty was personable, great listener, empathetic with my concerns, and elaborated on every detail. I was impressed and thankful to have met this kind of doctor.

Excellent patient care
My first visit with Dr Mcafferty was not what I'd hope to hear, but the Dr spent a lot of time with me explaining everything and answering all my questions. I never felt rushed and he gave me all the time I needed to understand everything. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Excellent!
Prompt visit with the doctor. Everyone was exceptional in my opinion. Dr McCafferty was very good at explaining AND listening. His PA was really good as well! We are taking conservative approach since I’m improving. It was one of THE best doctor visits I’ve ever had. I will definitely recommend!!

initial visit for a consult - all of the staff are very professional and ready to answer questions. There is a fair amount of online history to provide before the visit, and I was impressed that it was read ahead of time. You see an assistant and a PA before seeing the doctor. The doctor is very nice, friendly, and yet professional. I felt he answered all of my questions and went over my MRI thoroughly. We are in a wait and watch mode and I will be back in one year.

He was very personable and answered all my questions not necessarily what I had hoped for. Not ready for fusion yet for back problem suggested MRI which I might get between pacemakers. Very helpful and recommended to me by another Doctor friend. I would use him if needed.
