Short wait time and very clear on what he was going to do in my best interest. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Went for serious ankle surgery at 11 a.m. and was on the road home by 2:20 pm. Great job and confident he will get me going again.

Not being from the San Antonio, TX area, (here for work), I needed to get this procedure done during some down time at work. I researched my options and the TSAOG group stood out. I could not have picked a better option. From the very beginning, they have been on point as an entire group with no issues through surgery. I carefully selected Dr Randall Marx based off of my research and his experience and again, made the right decision 100%. He nailed the issues I was having down, gave me more than one option, explained things in a manner that was very caring and understanding and just knocked it out of the park on surgery day. I am so happy with him and his entire staff that I am thinking about doing my other ankle down the road with him. I really recommend anyone with this type of injury (mine was sports related from years ago) to give this man an opportunity. You will not be disappointed at the very least.

Dr. Marks explained my problem and what I needed done for it in a very simple and positive manner. His PA Lauren was also very helpful.

I went in for a follow-up visit for plantar fasciitis. I arrived about 20 minutes early, saw the doctor before my appointment time and left by my appointment time. He is so personable and you can tell he lives what he does. He treated my foot with an injection which I think will take care of the problem once and for all.

Dr Marx has treated me for foot issues for the past 6 years. It started as a broken heel bone and torn Achilles that was previously repaired by another orthopedist. Dr Marx had to go in and repair the bone and tendon correctly. Due to my compromised immune system, the incision would not heal. It was a definite challenge and Dr Marx patiently treated me until the incision was closed. From then on I’ve had numerous issues with stress fractures and broken bones in my feet. Dr Marx is conservative in his treatment without a rush to surgery. If surgery is imminent, then I would want Dr Marx performing it. Dr Marx is personable and takes the time to listen, assess the issue, and discuss a course of treatment, including you in any decisions. He is patient, kind, caring and one of the best doctors I have ever had. Thank You Dr Marx for being an outstanding doctor and surgeon!

Broke my ankle in three places on a Tuesday night, Wednesday Dr Marx was able to fit me for assessment, Thursday he was able operate. Everything went well and on the road to recovery. Dr Marx and his staff were helpful, professional and thorough in explaining everything. He came recommended to my by my pcp who has personally used him and I am hear to further that recommendation.
