Addressed all my concerns
Dr. Johnson carefully reviewed my medical records, then explained the rationale for proposed treatment of my condition. He listened to my concerns and patiently described the need to treat my problem now in order to prevent the possibility of suffering a broken hip in the future. I appreciated the time he spent with me on that first visit and again at the second appointment. The office is well run, and the staff is efficient. My condition is improving!

Dr. Johnson is great! Highly Recommend
I have been going to Dr. Johnson for over 12 yrs. He is very attentive & takes time with the appointment so everything is communicated. My appts. last as long as I have questions or need to discuss a particular symptom. He is very knowledgeable & has a terrific bedside manner. I believe he really does care about his patients well being . Martha, his Nurse, is great. She’s very personable, also seems to genuinely care about her patients. She is also easily available for phone calls which we all know is a huge PLUS. I’ve never had billing issues, office staff has been great & I never have issues getting an appointment if needed. I Highly Recommend Dr. Johnson & Staff!

I have been seeing Dr. Johnson for over 15 years...no matter where I have moved, I have driven as long as five hours one way to make my appointments. He and his staff are phenomenal. I have a lot of issues that have cropped up over the years, and they treat the whole person. They are super compassionate and caring. I can't say enough about this Doctor and his practice. I've recommended them multiple times.

Absolutely love Dr Johnson. He has answered every question about anything I have presented to him in a thorough and patient manner. I drive 40 miles to his office and would not even consider going anywhere else. My 80 year old mother also sees him and could not be happier with him.

This doctor does not do a diagnosis only treat I guess. You are required to go to a GP and get multiple test run, get results, then go to him. Don't know why he can't do it and it not cost me two doctor visits

I have been seeing Dr. Johnson for 3 1/2 years for RA - he is unfailingly compassionate, patient and thorough. I never feel like he is rushing me and he takes the time to answer all my questions. His MA, Martha, is upbeat, friendly and caring and his office staff has always been efficient and courteous. I am grateful for this physician would recommend him without reservation.

I tried to make an appointment. First before an appointment, they require medical records. Okay so I did that. Of course they did not call to schedule I called them to schedule an appointment. So as I was booking the appointment she asked for the first 5 numbers of my social security number. I said that was information I was unwilling to provide! Especially I have not even been to this office at all! When I said I was unwilling to provide that info she hung up on me. Too many dr’s in Houston

Many complain about his receptionist, but she's only doing what the dr tells her. . He wants easy cases. I came to him on a cane at 49, struggling to walk and with a swollen parotid that was causing me great pain in my ear and right side of my face, unable to produce saliva. He judged me based on my weight, not my health. He did nothing for my arthritis, didn't even address it. Sent me for a CT scan and lab. Then receptionist tells me I have a fatty parotid, contrary to the ct report.

Dr Johnson was really hard to schedule appointments with and I found his care overall very loose with no regular visits requested. His receptionist was not helpful to me when trying to schedule appointments and I always got a voicemail when I called and had to wait for someone to call me back all the time. By the time they did and I responded sometimes the office was already closed. I decided my care was more sincere and felt I had a better relationship with another’s Rheumatologist I found.

Dr. Johnson is one of the best doctors I have been too. He listens when you describe your problems. He is a good listener!!! He has helped me manage my RA for the last 10 years. He has always been kind and understanding, with many helpful suggestions for easing pain. He is great at explaining what is happening in your body when you tell him about problems you are having.

I have seen Dr Johnson for about 10 years. Due to insurance I had to change RA Dr's several times. I was lucky to get insurance this year that he was in network. Out of all of the RA Dr's I've seen in Houston none compare to Dr. J. H and his staff are caring, informed and knowledgeable. Some Dr's are in a rush and listen very little to your concerns. Dr J listens and answers all of your questions before leaving the room.

Dr. Johnson really takes the time to talk to us about our concerns, and then educate and help us understand the treatment options for my husband's psoriasis and gout. We have been going to him for several years and have always been able to quickly speak with his nurse, Martha when we needed. His office staff has also always been great about scheduling and with insurance questions. We highly recommend Dr. Johnson.

I have seen Dr. Johnson for over 10 years after an exhaustive search for a compassionate rheumatologist. He explains treatment options thoroughly and takes his time to listen to your symptoms and concerns. He is the best and so is his staff. I will soon be moving 50 miles away but will still drive to see him.
