Charged extra visit during annual exam
Let me first say I have been a patient of OBGYN Associates for over 30 years and never felt so disrespected by an office as I do now. I was charged extra during an annual exam (for which I was not informed), because Dr. Jack asked me if I wanted to continue my medications from my previous retired physician. Apparently during an annual exam you are not allowed to ask the physician anything or you will be charged for an additional visit. An annual exam only consists of a pelvic and breast exam and pap smear anything else said is an additional charge. Also, Dr. Jack offered and discussed, by his own I never asked for this research, regarding menopause treatments - but now I am being charged for this unsolicited information. I have always been able to talk to my previous retired physician at this office and NEVER charged extra. Please be aware of this office charging for discussing things with physicians.

I chose Dr. Jack when I moved to the area and needed a new gyno. I was told he was only doing gynecology which was fine with me. He replaced my IUD for me as well and I had a pleasant experience. When I was exploring sterilization options for myself, he was very nice about it and didn’t try to dissuade me due to my age so that was extremely appreciated. My husband and I are choosing a different route so I can’t attest to his surgery skills but I highly recommend Dr. Jack. I will use him until he retires!

Did not listen apparently
I went for my first visit as my other doctor closed their practice. We did an exam and we talked about the medications I use and take and that one was set to expire, why I was there at that time. I went to refill it and they have not refilled it for me and now want me to come back in for another appointment???? I just need a refill, we talked about this, something I have been taking for eight years. We talked about how I get one gram so I can save a little money. What else am suppose to do? I feel completely failed by they fact that as a new patient this is how they listen. Doesn't remember this and won't help me

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Jack. He oversaw my first pregnancy and he took excellent care of me, which was so nice as my husband was deployed and it was scary dealing with pregnancy on my own. He is kind, genuine, and open minded. I had to be on antidepressants throughout my pregnancy and he was supportive and didn't try to make me get off them. He also was supportive of me working with my naturopath to manage my thyroid condition. His nurse, Mary, is the sweetest. I ADORE her. I was so sad to learn that Dr. Jack wouldn't be doing OB anymore, as I was really hoping to have him as a doctor for future pregnancies. I highly recommend him.

This place is a joke! I was referred by a friend there and the doctor I saw was Dr. Randall E. Jack, M.D. My initial impression of the doctor was positive at first. I went into to do a pap smear and during the visit, he brought a few things to my attention. Towards the end of the visit, I had an additional question and he seemed uncomfortable and rushed. I did not have a good connection with him. He did not provide me with a lab slip for blood work he recommended I have done either.
