Dr. Abualsaud: Where Your Questions Go to Die
I went in to Cleveland clinic because it is the best and I wanted clarity and care, but Dr. Abualsaud made it clear that my presence was clearly a nuisance. Every time I asked a question, she looked at me like I was asking her to solve world hunger, not just trying to understand what was going on with my health. At one point, I almost apologized for being there. My condition might've been serious, but she made me feel like my biggest issue was being a “burden” to her busy ER schedule. I left with more questions than answers, and the distinct feeling that if I wasn’t in pain, I probably wouldn’t even rate a glance. So, if you’re into getting zero attention, a cold shoulder, and the distinct vibe that you’re in the way, Dr. Abualsaud is your girl. If you love being ignored then this is the doctor for you! Worst. Experience. Ever.

If you want to die, then she's the doctor for you!
Could have received quicker medical attention if I rode to an Indian witch doctor on a limbless tortoise with Cerebral Palsy.

She is not made for this field.
I’ve worked alongside Dr. Rana Abualsaud in the ER, and I’m honestly really disappointed by her attitude. She consistently rolls her eyes at patients and brushes off their concerns, which is unacceptable in this field. Emergency medicine requires not just skill but also empathy and respect for the patients we care for, and Dr. Abualsaud’s behavior shows she doesn’t take this seriously. Instead of listening to patients and treating them with the care they deserve, she seems to dismiss them completely. I’ve witnessed her act like it’s a joke when patients are asking questions or expressing their worries. This is not the mindset we need in a fast-paced, high-stress environment like the ER. I honestly don’t think she belongs in this field if she can’t take her responsibilities seriously and show patients the respect they deserve. This kind of behavior affects patient care and undermines the trust that’s so important in healthcare.
