Dr. Ran Xie, MD

The Dr. was fast, efficient, kind, personable. She was awesome. She was the most informative doctor I had ever been to and she treated me very respectfully. She also help me to feel comfortable by letting me know it is my right to have a second person in the room during my exam, no one ever communicated that to me before when I was being examined. Also she educated me on my body and that felt empowering.

Dr. Xie treats me with respect. She is very knowledgeable and cares about my well-being. Her staff is very respectful and friendly. The office is always very clean and welcoming.

In additional to her professionalism and profound knowledge, Dr. Xie’s unwavering responsibility towards my health has been truly commendable. My experiences during the past years have made me feel very fortunate to have her as my OB doctor.

It was my annual check up. As always, Dr. Xie took time to explain everything in detail to me and she is so knowledgeable. Can not be more happier for her service.

Dr. Xie listens to your questions and concerns. She explains in details about your medical situation.

Dr.Xie delivered the babies of ALL my close friends, so when I found out I was pregnant, my husband and I knew this is where we had to go. The providers and staff here not only lived up to the amazing things we were told by our friends, but far exceeded all expectations we had! Dr. Xie was not professional, not patient to listen and answer questions thoroughly. Doubt her ability to diagnose a little bit complex diseases.

Dr.Xie is a very no-nonsense doctor. She gets straight to the point, but very quickly. Her style doesn't align with mine. I prefer my doctor to ask questions and listen patiently while I explain my answers. She interrupted me a lot and talked very fast.

I saw Dr. Xie for annual exam and for birth control method. She was very gentle during the exam and made sure I was okay. She immediately got me going for my preferred birth control, i.e. copper IUD. When I went for insertion, I couldn't tolerate the pain and changed my mind 15 seconds into the process (if you have never had a baby it is a painful process no matter what you do and who does it for you). She rescheduled me for shots and accommodated my short timeline as best as she could.Loved her

I just moved to MD from NY recently and saw Dr. Xie for my GYN annual. One of my co-workers recommended her. She is Dr. Xie 's patient as well and spoke highly of her. I love Dr. Xie ! She is very nice and professional. She was very gentle performing speculum and pelvic exam. It did not hurt at all! After exam, we sit down in her office and Dr. Xie spent time explaining female anatomy, well women care and common diseases. I feel very comfortably with Dr. Xie and strongly recommend her!

Dr. Xei was not professional and missed many services during my routine examination - She did not check my blood pressure, no breast examination, no intrauterine examination. There was no nurse stood by when she did the pap smear, It was not required the co-payment for yearly routine examination. However I got a statement the she asked me to pay the co-payment. She is a tricky doctor. She let me feel she is not patient and not professional. She is just a business woman for money only.

I had a Great experience with Dr. Xie. I saw her this year for my routine Woman physical exam. She took her time and explained the entire routine exam and what she was doing. Which made the experience more comfortable. I also saw her for another issue. She even called to check up! Dr. Xie is very knowledgeable and I'm glad I met her. I can certainly say she's now my GYN/OB doctor.

Dr. Xie has provided expert care through my 1st pregnancy and now is providing care for my 2nd pregnancy. She provides a wealth of information and is empathetic to patient needs. Despite her busy practice she is generous with her appointment times, calls to communicate test results/discuss treatment.

It's the first and the last time I visited Dr. Xie. The medicine I got from Dr. Xie doesn't work and after my sample was back from labor, it shows Dr. Xie gave me a wrong diagnose. Dr. Xie is very impatient and simply hand over several copies of medical information without throughly explanation. She didn't finish all diagnose but suggest to set up another appointment. Terrible experience.

Dr. Xie definitely one of the best OBGYN I can find around the area. I live 35 minutes away from her office but still decided to drive to her during my first pregnancy because of her professionalism and friendliness. She would spend her time answering all questions I have for her or return my phone call within hours answering some questions which can save myself a trip to see her. She is here to help and take care of her patients unlike some other places just do it for money. Highly recommended!

Dr. Xie is an Excellent professional. She is one of the best physician my family have ever had. She delivered our beautiful daughter in professional care. She think in patient's position, and answer our questions with incredible patience. If you are having a baby, Dr. Xie will be the best guidance for this journey.

Dr. Xie helped guide me through my recent pregnancy. An obstetrician's life is a difficult one, yet I found Dr Xie to be a conscientious and obstetrician who has her patients' best interest in mind. I am so lucky to have a physician such as her who has the combination of knowledge, skill, and compassion to deliver high quality care.

Dr. Xie is very nice, she makes the office experience pleasant. She did such a great job with answering all my questions no matter and made me feel comfortable. I love her staff also. My appointment was pretty good. I will definitely recommend her.
