Dr. Ramzi Tawil, MD

I had been this Dr before and he was my PCP at one point . I went to the hospital in early june with a COPD attack . I was told to make an Appointment. I did that night for the next available date - 3 weeks later via an internet service. That Monday I did all paperwork via email . His office called the day of the appointment and canceled saying I’d have to make the appointment via Dr’s office website. I did , they called me 1 hour before my appointment and cancelled saying I have to call them to make an appointment and tried to give me an appointment 5 weeks from my original hospital visit . The woman from the office said this was coming directly from the Dr and this was how they do things there . If this is how he treats people looking for medical care he should rethink his profession.

I first came to Dr Tawil s little over a year ago. I left my longtime, do nothing, cash and referral happy doc of over 30 years as Middletown Medical continued to bill me for well checkup co-pays for 3 years in a row. I saw him every three months for 30 years he did absolutely nothing. Said enough. Dr. H sucked. Thank God for Dr Tawil , professional, honest, great personality explains anything you are concerned with and isn’t referral happy. He schedules necessary appointments . No nonsense. Great guy. Excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Ramzi Tawil. I’m a 62 year old man and was apprehensive about getting a new Dr and transferring to Crystal Run. I also don’t put up with any nonsense. I don’t give out false recommendations. Trust me on this Dr. Is a real gentleman. Thank you Dr. Tawil. And Crystal Run for employing this fine Dr.

Dr. Tawil was not attentive to my issues at all. He rushed my examination and he stated that he can only review one issue per visit. Crystal Run used to provide great medical care and now it seems it has turned into a monopoly concerned only about the money. I had a cat scan almost a month ago and Dr. Tawil nor his nurse have contacted me to discuss the results. I have called several times with no response. The customer service is also very bad. I will never go back because I want to live. I will see doctors who can treat their patients properly.

Dr, tawil is a very good family doctor very kind and self explanatory . He explains everything to you and gives you options ! He cares for his patients . I had a great connection with him. He knows what his doing . Very professional.

he is rude and arrogant. diagnosed me incorrectly with a pysch issue. I went for a physical and bloodwork. I had not slept in over a week more than 3 hours a night. He said because I was irritable I had a psychiatric disorder. NO I DO NOT. I have a thryroid problem that was misdiagnosed by another doctor at Crystal Run Healthcare. He spent 5 minutes with me and then refused blood work that my specilaist said I needed. He is a lyng piece of garbage. His ego and arrogance get in the way of him being capable of making any type of diagnosis period. I am filing a complaint with the NY Board and have already with my health insurance company

Not in this lifetime .

Too rushed, just wanted to get to next patient and wasn't really listening. Will not be returning as I would not get good care. All about the money, not patient care. Stay away, and from other primary doctors at Crystal Run Healthcare

I've been a patient of Dr. Tawil for over two years now and he is by far the best doctor I've ever had. He is a great listener and takes my symptoms seriously. He provides insightful recommendations and has great bedside manners.
