I would never recommend Dr Zara
My husband has seen him for two yrs for Parkinson’s and has done nothing for him medication.It’s been a mess and the office never answers there phones or returns phone calls.The worst office that I’ve ever seen. Do not go there I’m trying to find another Doctor .

Very thorough
I came to Dr. Zaza with suspected Parkinson’s. He took his time and did a very thorough examination and was very understanding of my hearing loss. He recommended a DAT Scan (brain scan) for more information. He explained all the other things that could be causing my symptoms. He took into account my stroke of 20 years ago and all the meds I’m taking now. Although a PD outcome is not ideal, I feel like he will do all he can to either rule it out or diagnose. Also, he noticed that my LDL cholesterol showing from Jan. 2024 was higher than normal and suggested a higher dose of statin. My PC did not notice this. Basically, he took the time to review my history which other docs have not.

Poor diagnosis
Dr Zara couldn’t figure out where my cerebellum ataxia came from so he scared me with a terminal condition based on absolutely nothing. I will be seeing someone else.

Dr. Zaza misdiagnosed my son for over a year. When he finally referred my son to a specialist and the specialist confirmed the misdiagnosis, Dr. Zaza abruptly discharged my son from his care (patient abandonment). My son almost died as a result of Dr. Zaza's negligence.
