Awesome service their less than 20 minutes total she is great

My PCP sent a referral to the Neurologist at WKP, my appointment was made for 1/13/25 a 7 month wait. I had all my new patients papers ready. Signed in and waited to be called back. Once I in a treatment room my vital signs were checked and the nurse said the doctor will be right in. The doctor came in and told me she couldn’t see me because I was seeing another Neurologist in the Willis Knighton System. I left and couldn’t stop thinking about what she said. It didn’t make sense to me.. About 3 weeks later I called my PCP for another referral. They wanted to know why. I explained it to them and within 3-4 days I had a Voice message from Dr Malik saying she could see me 2/18/25. When I returned the call I explained to her I didn’t feel comfortable seeing her at all. I don’t understand why she would do such a thing. It’s very upsetting to me. I hope she doesn’t do this to anyone else.

Very pleased with the results I am seeing with my Parkinson’s Dz from Dr Malik’s care plan. She listens to your issues and results since the last visit, then adjusts the plan to give better quality of life

Dr. Malik is personable and efficient. She had notes and memories of data from previous visits, doing a follow up follow through with diagnosis. Her friendly manner gave me ease, comfort and confidence - guaranteeing my conformity with her recommendations!

She is very caring about her patients.Dr. Malik takes time to listen and explain what needs to be done. She is very knowledgeable. A very great Dr.

The length of time I had to wait for appointment seemed excessive.

I initially saw Dr. Aleksenko, but after he left, Dr. Malik became my doctor. She is awesome! I never feel rushed; she listens to my concerns and makes me feel comfortable. Dr. Malik is very attentive and takes the time to explain everything in detail. Her friendly demeanor and professionalism put me at ease during every visit. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dedicated doctor!

Extremely pleased with Dr. Malik. She is professional, respectful, very thorough in asking questions and listening to our answers and any questions we had. As we were encountering a new diagnosis, she was extremely kind in helping us understand our options, explaining resources for me to read to understand the condition, and made sure we knew that her office was available to us if we needed anything. Her perky personality while being so professional, makes her a win win for us. I would strongly encourage anyone to reach out to her if they had need for her field of medicine.

Dr.Malik was referred to me from my previous Neurologist who retired. I was nervous about a new physician!Dr.Malik, was very kind and has helped me. She is very personable and would recommend her as a great n physician.

As a new patient I got to sit for 40 mins in the exam room wondering when I would be seen. In that time I read and reread the paper notice posted next to me that new pts are allowed 45 mins to allow the md time with the new pt. Well, as I said my appt started 40 mins late and I was in the elevator 30 mins later. She would ask a question and before I could answer she was asking a different question which did not allow me to answer the first one. I felt she was cold and disconnected. Both of us being short was a problem as I sat in a chair and she stood up behind a computer desk and I couldn’t see her unless she poked her head around. I felt she was annoyed with me and was glad to be able to leave early as she was not going to be able to help me. What a wasted visit! I have seen neurologist in the past for different problems and they all did physical exams as well as developed a rapport with me and put me at ease and then did the cognitive portion of the visit. i don’t recommend!

She was kind and knowledgeable. Showed genuine concern for our problems. The appointment was not rushed.

Dr Malik cares and it was evident to me. I have hope again. Thank you doctor.

My first visit. I had many questions, I had a right thalamus stroke. I was very worried and had many, many questions. She answered all my questions. She put me at ease. Was very easy to talk to her. She explained things in a way that I could understand what had happen and how/when I might get back to normal. As normal as I can be after having a stroke. I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Before talking to her I could not. I would recommend her to any person needing a neurologist.

My elderly mother had her first appt with Dr. Malik today. We were both a bit nervous as we were seeing her with some deep concerns about my mothers health. Let me tell you, Dr. Malik and her nurse Sarah were amazing. They never made us feel rushed. They spoke in terms my mom and I both understood. They both explained things very clearly to us both. Took lots of time with my mom as a new patient. We explained we would be traveling soon and Dr. Malik ordered lab work and scheduled us for a follow up very quickly so we can sort out and make a plan several weeks before our travel date so mom would be confident on her vacation. All around amazing. I am so grateful mom has her. She and her nurse made a scary day so comfortable. Dr. Malik & Nurse Sarah both exuded genuine care. Something not often felt these days! We would recommend her to anyone needing neurological assistance! Vicki Caskey
