My mother had to be rushed to Cooper ER after this negligent, cruel doctor discharged her from Virtua Voorhees ER without any help for a dangerous bowel obstruction. She is on chemo for cancer treatment and has been very weak, faint and in a great deal of pain from this obstruction. She needed emergent help and this doctor not only failed to treat her, but he was downright cruel while discharging her. His words to her were, 'I think you're just feeling sorry for yourself.' The state board WILL be hearing about this. Cooper hospital had to admit her for three days to safely clear her obstruction with the level of care that a neutropenic cancer patient should receive. She is home and recovering now, but she says she still has nightmares about this doctor, and she is too terrified to ever go back to Virtua Voorhees Hospital ever again, despite it being the closest hospital to her home. This doctor has NO business treating any living being.

The way this doctor treated my mother (a cancer patient) in the ER was horrendous. He should not be in a position that involves human interaction.

Saw him in Virtua Voorhees ER and am still trying to recover from his parting advice to me: that I was just feeling “sorry for myself “ because I dared to question his advice and request he reach out to my cancer team. Not only did I not receive the care I’d waited several hours for, but I am seriously considering a halt on the chemo and giving up.
