Dr. Ramkishen Narayanan, MD

Dr Narayanan reviewed with me the last lab results and made adjustments to the medicine program. He listened to my observations and all the questions I had.I had almost no waiting time in the lobby, before the medical team started working on me.All personnel was friendly and very professional.

Dr. Narayanan may be a fine urologist. However, he drops the ball when it comes to follow-up. Two weeks after ordering a CT scan, he still had not contacted me to discuss the results. I sent him a message through MyChart, but he never replied. I left four messages with his office, asking that he contact me. It was only after I asked my primary care physician to intercede that Dr. Narayanan finally called me back. That was a month after the CT. Following a second office visit, Dr. Narayanan said he would order an MRI. Three days later, Tower Imaging could find no record of his order. So, I called Dr. Narayanan's office, asking them to remind him. Three days later, Tower Imaging still had no order. It took another call to his office before he ordered the scan. Four weeks after the MRI, Dr. Narayanan still has not contacted me. I sent two messages to him through MyChart, but he never bothered to reply. Two messages left at his office were not returned, either.

Dr. Ramkishen Narayanan is an excellent Urologist. Top in his field. Very attentive to me as his patient and seems to genuinely care about my health and well being. He spent the time and patiently explained in great clarity and detail all my questions and concerns during my 5 appointments with him. He also examined my MRI, ultrasound, blood and urine tests fully and thoroughly. He is sharp, pleasant, intelligent and with good humor. I am very grateful. If I could give him more than the max 5 stars, I would.

Dr. Narayanan clearly explained the medical situation with time for questions. He was helpful and responded in a timely fashion to inquiries. He even called to see how I was doing after his participation in my care was complete. He's not just technically capable, but combines his expertise with a good bedside manner.

Dr. Ram (Rahm) as he is affectionately called, was a resident when we first met. Though he has moved on to the San Jose area, Dr Ram is an incredibly talented physician who has incredible bed side manners and is insanely talented in the Urology field. While at St. John's Dr. Ram excelled as one of the nation's top urologist Dr. Timothy Wilson's partner. His skills include state of the art surgical techniques utilizing robotic technology. Dr. Ram is the real deal and truly listens to his patients and communicates effectively and tells it like it is. Consider yourself extremely fortunate if you're a patient of his. My wife & I truly miss this very talented Physician.
