Dr. Ramiro Nieves, MD

Outstanding highly recommend Dr Nieves I’ve done both my knees with him complete total knee replacements, now total shoulder replacement. He’s a blessed Dr with gifted miracle hands!

Dr. Nieves was rude in my last visit because he wants I know any thing what he never explained. do not go also after 3 month of surgery visit for pain and he told me "MAYBE YOU HAVE THE LEG MORE LONG" IF THE LEG IS MORE LONG HE LEFT MORE LONG. AND ALSO THE HOSPITAL KENDALL ORIGINAL WAS A DESASTER.

This Doctor is extremely unprofessional. He screams at his staff which they are actually very nice and helpful. He speaks to patients in a very rude manner and rushes through the consultation.

As soon as I walked into Dr. Nieves' office, I was impressed by how clean it was. The office staff was very professional and helpful. I never felt rushed while being with Dr.Nieves as he took his time to explain all the results of the xray and different treatment options. I highly recommend him to anyone. He is one of the few doctors that shows humanity and compassion toward his patients.

If you have another option, take it. He is lacking in bed side manners to the point where is it unprofessional. Most of these surgeries have become routine, and many surgeons are excellent. The after care and communication between the surgeon and patient (or family) is key to recovery. And he lacks in communication skills and professionalism. He has walked into my fathers room and not even bothered to address him, ask him how he is doing, not a word to the patient before walking out. Unacceptable. He is hesitant to answer any questions, almost as if it is a bother. He certainly has a god complex and believes that he is above his patients that he is suppose to serve. Find someone else a little less pompous.

I consulted Dr. Nieves over pain in my knees and lower back. Without checking me or performing X-rays, he proceeded to tell me about the difference treatment options available. Prior to a diagnoses. The consultation was extremely brief and the solution prescribed was therapy. The office staff is very unprofessional. They demand payment up front and later after insurance claim is processed, you have to be calling to get your overpayment reimbursement. They won’t mail it to you, you have to go in person and when you do, you spend 10 minutes waiting at the window for the check. No apologies whatsoever. Time is only important for them and you are at their mercy. Find someone else.

Don't bother waste of my time and money!!! I went with MRI results which he looked at and said it was normal and said it was probably gout. If you study medicine; acute gout attacks lasts 3-10 days not for a month in a half. Saw me for 5-10 minutes wanted to charge me for a shot of plasma not covered by insurance $300. After visit was over not even a hand shake after taking my time and money. I should have paid attention to the bad reviews and waited on another Dr.

Dr.Nieves is very professional and cares about his patients. Whenever I call his office, the staff is very attentive and always answers my concerns. I highly recommend this doctor as a surgeon to anyone. Cordially, E. Acosta

No compassion and terrible bed side manner. I have legal responsibility for my aunt, in Florida; unfortunately, I'm out of state. She underwent surgery yesterday and this doctor refused to call me with an update, despite the fact that I have health care power of attorney for her. I left numerous messages for him to call me with an update, to no avail. His response was, 'I'm too busy to be calling a family member on the phone.' Remember Dr. Nieves, what goes around always comes around.

I personally will recomend Dr. Nieves, actually I already did. He is a very professional and caring doctor. He takes the time to listen what you have to say, showing that he cares. He will resolve your problem if it possble on the first visit with out giving you the run around, as I had experience with other doctors.
