Dr Etebar has always listened to me and actually felt that I had Lupus years before I was actually diagnosed with it.

condescending doesn’t listen couldn’t diagnose
in UMC quick care for what I suspected was staph skin infection. when I pointed out some lesions on my legs Dr Etebar said “looks like insect bites.” when I disagreed he asked me “are you a dermatologist?” Talked over me like I wasn’t there when I tried to explain my shingles vaccination status. had to ask him 3 times what was causing my rash before he responded, “SKR, some kind of rash.” in other words he didn’t know. prescribed me only steroids despite plenty of visual evidence of infection . He was gone in a flash, my fastest dr appointment ever. As I drove away I saw him outside behind the building talking on his cell phone.

ARROGANT AND CONDESCENDING
zero star rating! I went to get tested for strep. When I’m brought back, Dr Etebar asks for my symptoms and checks my ears and throat. He said I had an ear infection and left within two minutes. It was over so quick I didn’t have time to ask questions. I asked the woman with my prescription about getting tested for strep. Dr Etebar didn’t mention my request to get tested when he came in. So the woman went to get the doctor again. The first thing he said was that he checked my ears and throat and gave me my prescription. I could have been on my way already. I had concerns about an antibiotic since many of my symptoms could be a viral infection. I wanted reassurance through an explanation or a swab. His response? “If you want to have that idea and blow your ears out, then go right ahead.” So no, I didn’t get tested. I didn’t get an explanation why an antibiotic was prescribed. Then when he left the room, I heard him tell a coworker about me and how horrible of a patient I was.

I will be sure to ask who is the treating doctor next time I go to UMC quick care. I went for a simple UTI which requires antibiotics. He said that wasn’t the issue despite all the symptoms pointing to the contrary. Then said I need to follow up with my PCP for bloodwork and a urologist referral. After leaving bewildered and now nervous I went immediately to my PCP. We discussed symptoms, duration, etc. He looked at the paperwork given me to me by Etebar and essentially said “why is this bloodwork needed for the symptoms you are reporting?”Etebar was unprofessional and Unknowledgeable. Would highly discourage anyone from seeing him!!

He “saw” me at the local urgent care. He told me I needed surgery for a cyst I had already taken care of earlier. I was only there because I was asked to follow up. I told him what I was there for so he finally turns me around to look at the cut and says he’ll send the nurse in. He then comes back and says I have high blood pressure and I need to go on medicine. He didn’t ask me questions or look me over or anything. He just stood in the doorway and got mad when I said no.
