Ethics with patient care
He told family one thing and then after 24 hours the dr discharges him. Wife was told at least 3 more days to observe him and was to order therapy. Wife arrived to find husband not hooked up to oxygen or the suction tube to remove urine away from his body. Wife asked nurse to have dr speak with her regarding this issue and he never attempted. Due to not being on oxygen patient was confused again and seeing things. Plus wife needed to discuss future followup with a referral. Very disappointed that he would not care enough to make sure a proper plan if instruction be put into place for husband recovery.
