Dr. Chheda was amazing my son would have these spells of daydreaming and he was technically having absent seizures. Dr Chheda actually ran extensive testing on him and found out only one side of his brain seized and he got him on meds and he hasn't had them like he used to. I'm so thankful for him helping my son with his epilepsy.

Dr Chheda has treated my son from age 8 (now 42). He's such a caring dr. I was saddened to hear he's retiring ?? but my son is in a much better neurological state of Dr R. Chheda.

My primary sent my son here for an ADHD evaluation. There are signs all around the office about medication, the waiting room was uninviting as well as the staff. I talked with the doctor for not even 5 minutes and he brought back a prescription for medication, emphasized using the brand name but did not explain what symptoms he was going to treat using this. Did not say "yes he has ADHD". While I am not against medicating my child and I do believe he has ADHD I do not trust anything given to me from a doctor that only talks to us for 5 minutes. I expected a full psychological evaluation, especially for a 5 year old before medicating them. There was also no discussion of possible therapies or what I should look out for with this medication. Also when the appointment was initially scheduled I did not receive a call until 2 days prior. I had a conflicting appointment so I had to reschedule. When I tried to call the office I received a 3 week old voice-mail message. Mid day.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Chheda. Two of my children were referred to Dr. Chheda. My son for his ASD and ADHD and my daughter for her issues with chronic headache. You always worry that you won’t be listened to about headaches, or being told it’s “just allergies.” Dr. Chheda really impressed me by listening to my daughter (10) and asking her questions directly. He diagnosed her with chronic migraine and the medication he suggested has prevented her daily migraines! As a parent who also suffers from migraine, I feel so relieved knowing my daughter’s pain is now under control. Dr. Chheda was also very helpful with my son and listened to my concerns over giving him medication. His initial appointment was thorough and led to an EEG to be certain. Dr. Chheda’s suggestions were conscientious.

He misdiagnosed my daughter. Even though she was vomiting in his room and crying her head hurt. He gave her allergy meds and patted her on the head. He said I get about 7 kids here a day with the same problems. I asked about an MRI or CT scan he said not needed. We went to the ER on request from her primary and had a CT scan done. That same day my daughter was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. She was only 6. If I had listened to this quack my daughter wouldn't be here.

My daughter went there with severe headaches and vomiting, she even threw up in his office. He said she didn't need a cat scan and gave here a script for allergies. Later that day her pediatrician called us and said to take her to the ER, they did a cat scan and found a brain tumor. Stay away from this Dr.!!!!! Thank god for her pediatrician.

When I first went to see Dr. Chheda I tried to Schedule an appointment and he was unavailable for a months. After I realized it was a busy time of year. Now I can get in within a week. He is very nice and will help in any way he can. I have expressed concerns about my and he helped me understand them better. The office staff is pleasant. I would highly recommend him to others.

He has always been there when my son needs him. Even took out time in his busy day to talk to me about my son when I needed his wisdom in what to do to help my son. I believe he is an excellent doctor.
