Excellent care and compassionate
Dr Tummula has performed 2 of my surgeries and 1 procedure. He has always been caring for every appointment, whether it be virtual or in person. He has called me on the weekends to check on me. My 2nd surgery was scheduled for a Friday morning. They had an emergency come in where he was needed, spent over 10 hours in surgery and they did have the staff to assist on mine later that day. He knew I had waited over a month for the surgery, so he and his team came in Saturday morning to perform mine. Extremely dedicated, but also very busy. Which can sometimes make communication more challenging. But well worth it!

Empathetic, professional, and detailed.
Dr. Tummala is working with us and our 4-year-old son who is a pedaitric stroke survivor. Dr. Tummala takes his time with us during our visits and makes sure we have a clear understanding. His calm demeanor is very reassuring to our boy who now has a fair bit of medical trauma from all the tests he's had to undergo. I would travel across the world to see out Dr. Tummala's expertise if I ever needed it again. He's a gem that I can't believe decided to land in little old Minnesota. I'm so grateful for him.

Dr. Tummala called me way after hours when he was finally sent the scans from a hospital out of Minot ND to tell me to come see him right away. He was GREAT! I don't trust anyone else with the brain tumor

Dr Tummala may be an excellent surgeon, however our experience was frustrating to say the least. My wife is being treated for a spontaneous csf leak. Dr Tummala fails to provide feedback on tests and ignores calls. It's as if she isn't important enough to even have a call returned. Terribly frustrating!!

Dr. Tummala removed a meningioma in November 2019. He explained everything very well, answered my questions and I was very pleased with my experience.
