Dr Kunkle met with my family to recommend palliative care for our mother. Very good bedside manner. HOWEVER, the hospital statement shows that Dr Kunkle billed Medicare for 2 visits in the hospital. We know FOR A FACT that Dr Kunkle only saw us or Mom one time. We know that because my sister & I were pulling 24 HR shifts at Mom's bedside. She billed for a 50 minute visit ($410) as well as a 35 minute visit ($312). She did not see us more than once. My advice? Go directly to Hospice of the Valley
