Misdiagnosed. Had to have bone grafting.
He told me I was getting old and I had a possible cyst. Gave me a shot of cortisone and sent me on my way. And told me to never walk barefoot again. Totally misdiagnosed my situation. The blessing is that I had 35 years of healthcare experience and knew this was incorrect. I had to have bone reconstruction in my foot by an excellent orthopedic surgeon, Tidelands Orthopedics. Beware.

My almost 94 year old mother saw Dr. Sprinkle on May 27, 2020. As I always do, I provided his office with a list of medications my mother currently takes as well as all surgeries / hospitalizations. While examining her feet, we were told she had to have her nails clipped. That’s fine. But Dr. Sprinkle clipped my mother’s skin! If he had consulted her medications list, he might have noticed that she's on a blood thinner. She bled COPIOUSLY. To add insult to injury, we paid $54 for that “service”. He prescribed an antibiotic at 1,000 mg a day, even though she recently had C-Diff (also on my list) and she is at high risk for recurrence. My mother's home health care (through MUSC) immediately took my mother off not only the prescribed antibiotic, but Dr. Sprinkle's method of wound care. My mother is very frail and I am extremely disappointed in Dr. Sprinkle's failure to review her personal medical history more thoroughly in order to prevent even more medical problems.

I had just started a two-week vacation when I came down with a sudden, nasty foot problem. Dr. Sprinkle's office was able to see me the day after I called. Dr. Sprinkle provided a diagnosis, provided short-term pain relief and a long-term treatment plan for when I return home. His staff is very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Sprinkle obviously cares about the people he treats. My vacation would have been a disaster if it hadn't been for this place. Thanks!

Dr. Sprinkle has excellent knowledge of foot care solutions and offered me several options of treatment. Excellent chair side manner. Very kind and considerate. Prompt care with little wait time and always greeted in a friendly manner by whoever is at the reception desk. I would and already have recommended others to Dr. Sprinkle
