Finally a doctor that listens!
My husband and I have had fertility problems and Dr Philosophe took the time to really get a good history on us, and address what may be causing our infertility. I was very impressed by my first visit with him, so much so I wanted to hug him and say thank you, because finally someone on our fertility journey isn’t treating us like a statistic, but actual individual patients!! If you want a doctor that truly listens. I recommend him to you and your family!

While I think Dr Philosophe is a great Dr, he rushes and hardly takes the appropriate time with me. I understand with COVID he wants to limit exposure but the fact that he isn't even checking my baby’s heartbeat because his medical assistant is doing it is very uncomfortable. She always has trouble locating it and then complains that my baby is moving too much, my baby wasnt even moving at the time. She’s incredibly rude and acts like she’s in charge. She’s often gotten on the phone when I’ve called with a question or concern. I’m calling to speak to my Dr or an actual nurse. She calls you honey the entire time but is very passive aggressive and I feel uncomfortable around her. I’ve already voiced my concerns.

To anyone looking for a really good doctor in this field, I would highly recommend Dr. Philosophe and his practice. Excellent at what he does; direct and to the point; takes the time to inform you of all procedures, and takes great care to LISTEN to what you have to say. His staff couldn't have been any better, nicer and more efficient.

I went for an intended wellness appointment and was not informed that it would not be charged as such. Don't ever mention any problems during a wellness appointment or you will be paying for it!!! Apparently you should be reading signs on the wall. ;) I would highly recommend going somewhere that you treated as a human being and that is transparent with you.

I have been going to Dr. Philosophe for about 25 years. After seeing two other OB/GYNs , he was a big sigh of relief. He is extremely personable, and his bedside manner exceptional. He is very knowledgeable, explains things in a way the patient can understand. He presents you with all your options, gives his opinion but not pressuring you to make a decision. This dr is top notch! Hearing of my experience, both my sisters in law see him. Even my two daughters now go to him!

Dr. Philosophe is an excellent surgeon ! He is very skilled and one of the best in the New England area. He performed surgery to repair my fallopian tube and removed some endometriosis. When I saw another doctor for a related condition, he spoke highly of the result of Dr. Philosophe’s work which was of an extremely delicate nature. Would definitely recommend him.

I saw him on August 29, 2016 for a pap due to EXCRUTIATING cramping and bleeding. He took the time to explain what was going on, why things are happening and what my options are. I went back the next day for an ultrasound/vaginal ultrasound. After that he did a hysteroscopy. Next week he's going to do a hysterectomy. There's no one else I would trust to do this. He's very comforting, supportive and personable. Also, thank you to Suzanne for being comforting, personable and supportive.
