Dr. Ralph Jackson, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Jackson and New Horizons Internal Medicine for well over a decade and was refused service by him while waiting for my companies new HR department to get our insurance switched over after a merger. He said I would need to pay the full price for self pay patients (almost $500) just for one visit in which all I needed was a prescription refill. The fact that I have been a patient for more than 10 years meant nothing to him. The tens of thousands of dollars he's made on me doesn't matter in the slightest and I would either have to pay the $500 or reschedule my appointment for after my company gets it's insurance situation settled. I'm not asking for him to do his job for free, but $500 for less than 10 minutes is ridiculous. What kind of human being treats another person like that? A terrible person, and a terrible doctor. Unbelievable, to just completely refuse something so basic for such a silly reason.

I've been a patient of Dr. R. Jackson for 15 years, and I’ve always had a positive experience with him. Despite what others may say in their reviews, I’ve never had any issues. His communication is clear, and his bedside manner is excellent. Dr. Jackson truly listens and provides the care I need, so I trust him with my health.

Dr. Ralph Jackson office is 1 of the worst office in Gwinnett County. Never answers the phone and NEVER returns calls. I don't see how he's still in business. I would not recommend him at all.

I find this not to be true at all. The staff is great.

The staff half do their job and do what’s best for them and not what’s best cost to the patient.

I came to this place because I was having health issues, lab work was ordered. I waited 1 hour to see the doctor for 3 min. 3 weeks later I had to call to find out what my results were because nobody ever bothered calling me. I was told they didn't know and they needed to call me back, needless to say I didn't get a call back. I had to call again the next day and was finally told, oh the lab lost your results. This is unacceptable! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

Dr. Jackson is an example of something that is becoming more and more difficult to find these days... a really good doctor, one who takes a genuine interest in your needs, listens to your opinions, and almost always gives the correct diagnosis on the first try (of course all doctors should give the correct diagnosis, but in cases where it may be a, b or c, Dr Jackson has the diagnostic skills to "know" which of the three is the culprit).
