Dr. Ralph Hester, MD

Dr. Hester is patient, kind and professional. I an very pleased.

I have gone to doctor Hester for ten plus years, after years of seeing the wrong optometrists, it was doctor Hester who save my eyesight. I had no idea how serious my problem was. He does not have the greatest bedside manner, but he is an awesome doctor and surgeon.

My time is important also!! Self-verified patient of Dr. Ralph B Hester III - Posted on June 19th, 2019 I had my appointment in my calendar as 1450. I work and have to take the whole afternoon off due to my eyes being dilated. When I got to my appointment at 1440 I was told I was supposed to be there at 1400 for some test and then my appointment with Dr Hester was at 1435. I have been a patient for over 10 years and have not been late for any appointments and have always called if I had to change an appointment. I was told they could go ahead and do the test but I would have to reschedule for the doctor. I have sat in this waiting room on many occasions

I’ve seen the doctor for years and find him to be excellent but his staff continues to decline and wait times are over an hour past scheduled appointments. I am very sad I may have to loose a doctor I admire due to poor staffing.

Wait times in office exceed an hour each of two visits. Good doc just sucks at scheduling. If I were an hour late they would cancel my appointment but it does not mater when it is my time wasted. Staff makes errors on the script so you have to do two visits to get it right, and have two pairs of glasses made.

I paid extra money for additional tests and services. I would not do that again. My right eye is fine but after 31/2 months my left eye is having problems. I am experiencing pain and decrease vision in my left eye. I called the office and was told the earliest I could see Dr. Hester was in 10 days. Needless to say I feel like I wasted my money.
