Brushed off and Unheard
Terrible, I felt unheard and brushed off after seeing Dr. Chistosomo. I took my husband with me and he was very abrasive towards the both of us. I was trying to describe my pain and where it comes from and he cut me off, then my husband tried to give more details of when I have a bad flare up and he dismissed him and would only look at me. Acted as if my husband wasn't there. I asked him to be there to help me and he wouldn't give him the time of day. Then he proceeded to tell me that he has seen people with worse injuries and they are able to deal with the pain. How is he going to tell me how much pain I am in and that my pain is not valid? I have been dealing with back issues for over 10 years and I can tough it out. I went to him when it was too much for me to just deal with. I felt brushed off and unheard. He acted as if me being there was an inconvenience to him.

If you have no other choice than to see him bring an audience. He discriminates. He was scowling most of the time with me and then was caring and friendly to the next patient. It blew me away how unprofessional he was. I was in a car accident and getting treatment for my back. He coldly told me that I have scoliosis and there's nothing that can be done. He offered no treatment, no advice, no sympathy, no positive emotion or hope for a better condition of life. He asked how often I ate fast food and worked out with a judgmental tone. If you are going to ask you should at least suggest I change not just nod and look me in the eyes angrily as if I spit in your face. Extremely unprofessional towards me but he's capable of being professional if he wants to because he was very professional with others. Looked at me like I was his personal enemy and couldn't wait to get me out of his office. I got some of the worst news of my life in a cavalier, cold tone from him. Do not recommend at all!
