My resident 2nd vist we waited 45 mins and the Dr hasn't seen the 930a patient yet so we left I figured it was ridiculously over booked. So we tried again we waited again 45 mins in the waiting room 20 mins in the room. By that time Dr shah came in rude, disrespectful, unprofessional raising his voice while I'm trying to explain why we are there. He made my resident so uncomfortable she doesn't want to go back. I never been treated so ill mannered and neither will my residents ever again. I do not recommend this Dr.

Wonderful Doctor
Dr. Shah is one of the neurologist i have seen. He took time to inquire about my condition and was very attentive. I can not express how wonderful he and his office staff are. This is the only neurologist where I felt like I was heard.

Incompetence
1. Can't reach the office 2. Dr. didn't know about dosage that there are for the meds he has me on, and he literally looked up the information online right in front of me - wow?! 3. This office wrote the wrong medication in a script for me - luckily I AM competent enough to have caught it since I knew the generic and name brand of the one I am on - horrifying to think of what could have happened if I wouldn't have caught it! It is seizure meds! The pharmacy would have filled it since the script was from a doctor, even though it was a different dosage and medication! 4. This wasn't the first incident of incorrect script from this office - they also, a few months ago wrote the wrong dosage & I luckily caught that one too! 5. Staff is incompetent, to say the least 6. ...I could go on and on telling of numerous frustration, irritations, and unprofessional incidences, ..., but bottom line, DON'T GO HERE!

Rejects any medical history info
Upon arriving, he did not want to hear about patient recent ER and ICU visits for a series of seizures. When we asked of we could explain the patient current condition and baseline. He asked the patient and parent to leave.

. Rakesh P. Shah is the most hateful, unprofessional, worst doctor i've ever encountered. My daughter is 20 and has the condition of Cerebral Palsy. We came in for a few reasons. My daughter is going to be 21 soon so she doesn't need a pediatric neurologist anymore. She's also been extremely dizzy. I wanted to have new test and a new perspective on her condition since she hasn't had these since she was somewhere around 5 and 10 years old. Our old neurologist is a great doctor but she's a pediatrician neurologist who's in either Mease hospital or down in St Petersburg at all children's. We've had her for about 8 years now. Dr. Rakesh P. Shah when he walked in the room didn't introduce himself. Asked very rudely why we were there while flipping very quickly through her file of records i had sent over. Getting upset even more before he couldn't locate her last visit from old neurologist and then said why is she even here seeing a neurologist, rudely with aggressive then. I told hi

Not happy with this Dr – Mar 17, 2020

Horrible doctor! Answered his phone and didn't even leave the room. He went off on someone at a hospital about being exhausted & overworked due to their staff ordering too many neurology consults. After hanging up, he proceeded to tell me that there was nothing wrong with me, but if I felt like I needed more help for my headaches & confusion, post concussion, then I should go to the hospital, and admit myself for tests. WTH?! He just told off the hospital, but wants me to go there so they can order tests?! QUACK, QUACK!! All about $$$$ He doesn't even deserve one star but it was the only way to warn people to SEEK OUT ANOTHER NUEROLOGIST!!

The staff nurse was rude and inconsiderate. Was rescheduled for an earlier time but waited for more than and hour to be taken to an exam room and then waited an additional 15-20 mins for the dr

The office never does what it suppose to, they do not return calls they are rude and would rather sit and talk about their nails then help anyone. I have been trying to get things handled for a good bit of time with no help from them. if you choose this office good luck
