My experience with Dr. Mangal and his office has been extremely stressful and upsetting. I’ve had ongoing issues with unresponsive and dismissive office staff. After my HSG in October, I experienced extreme pain and suspected a UTI due to the procedure. Despite reaching out, Dr. Mangal dismissed my concerns and suggested only a liquid diet, offering no further help or treatment. The office staff, particularly Veronica, were unprofessional and disrespectful. I submitted FMLA paperwork on October 9th for an upcoming surgery, but despite multiple calls and emails, they delayed its completion. Veronica repeatedly put me on hold, hung up, and ignored follow-ups. By November 22nd, my request had expired, and I had to restart the process. Even then, the paperwork was submitted late, on December 3rd. Despite complaining to Dr. Mangal on November 22nd about the delays and expressing the importance of the paperwork, he never responded. Ultimately, I canceled my surgery with Dr. Mangal because I no longer trusted him or his staff. On December 5th or 6th, I requested my medical records. Dr. Mangal instructed me to email office, which I did on December 10th. When I followed up on December 12th, Janice claimed they were preparing the documents. However, on December 13th, Veronica stated a form was required, contradicting earlier information. Despite her promise to call back, I received no response. Multiple follow-up calls went unanswered, and I now believe they are refusing to release my records.

Money hungry and a cookie cutter dr.
Everything was unprofessional from the start, but assuming he was great i let it slided. He makes 3 appointment at the same time. Making people sit in the waiting area for a long period of time. Making us watching videos of him self talking about endo and his success stories. All documents were essentially scanned from a previous patient. He doesn't give you many options and truely doesn't have time managements skills. He makes you extremely expensive procedures that are more for fertility than anything else. Even though i told him i wasn't interested in it he wouldn't budged and make you do them. 'So he can see better' which isn't true because he cut me open and said that it was too much to operate on. If you aren't a possible success story then he won't even follow up with you Horrible!!!!

Never go with him
He just care the money, anything else! He wants to do me a surgery that it wasn't necessary and also I didn't have insurance in that moment and he wants to make me do a payment plan with them! And few months later I got pregnant but he said for me it's almost impossible, now my baby have almost 3 years old!

Being treated by Dr. Mangal changed my life. I had five large uterine fibroids, endometriosis, iron deficiency, and was in constant pain. I had my period for 8 months straight before being treated by Dr. Mangal. I got a myomectomy and that solved everything. While in Dr. Mangal's care, he was competent, compassionate, gentle and sympathizing. I felt like I was his only patient. There was a nurse practioner on his staff that was not gentle at all, but once I made my concerns known, Dr. Mangal handled it and there was no more concern.

I would never recommend this dr to anyone. It was one of the worst decisions I ever made. His office staff does not get back to you in a timely manner nor do they get you in for your appt within 2+ hours of your appt time. Trying to get a follow up if you believe there are issues is non-existent. I feel worse for having had surgery with him.

A doctor that is absolutely out of this world. I can see why people travel from all over to see Dr. Mangel. Great bedside manner, wonderful staff and team of nurses in every facility. Dr. Mangal is very knowledgeable about the endometriosis disease. He made my surgery seem like a breeze. Best care that you can find.

Dr. Mangal is one of the most honest, compassionate and humble doctors on the face of the Earth and he is hands down the best doctor for treating endometriosis. I have been seeing him for close to 3 years. My only regret is I wish he practiced independently, or at least not at the Women's Hospital of Texas, which is one of the worst hospitals in Texas.

His degree of thoroughness & compassion you won't find elsewhere. I feel so lucky to half found him and his team. Nurse Rita is amazing too. If there were more hours in the day, I am almost certain they would use even those to care for their patients. Hang in there. You won't regret seeing this doctor

I suffer from a rare condition called thoracic endometriosis, and without hormonal therapy my lung collapses with my period. After ending up in the ER with a chest tube, I had TWO different doctors of mine personally call Dr. Mangal's office to request he see me. No reply. After numerous calls someone scheduled me, but 10 minutes later called to cancel me stating he needed to review my file but would call me. NEVER DID. He has no business calling himself an endo specialist.

The best doctor to go to for endometriosis! I cannot say enough good things about dr. Mangal! I have since moved out of houston and because of his excellent care, surgery skills, knowledge of the disease, and time he takes to understand his patients concerns, I will travel back to Texas because I know with him I will get honest answers and the best care on my individual needs. He is truly a blessing in my eyes and because of him I have my life back, and can actually begin fertility treatments.

Doctor Mangal helped me a year ago with my endometriosis. I've never been more impressed with a doctor before. He called me on a Sunday to go over my medical records, and got me in for my first appointment the following day (Monday). He spent over 5 hours with a small group us (and our significant others) making sure we truly understood what all endometriosis is, how its caused, and different treatment options available. Now a year later my husband and I are expecting our first child.

Dr. Mangal is the absolute BEST if you are suffering from Endometriosis. I have stage IV Endo and have lived with this miserable disease for 20 years. After going through countless doctors who claimed to know how to treat this disease, my husband found Dr. Mangal. Dr. Mangal is the gold standard when it comes all aspects of endometriosis. Yes, you may have longer waiting time, however, you will NOT find a better endo specialist ANYWHERE! He is compassionate, thorough and intelligent doctor.
