Complex patient care
I was seen and managed by Dr.Puri during my recent 13 day stay at Winter Park Hospital. Dr. Puri had a kind bedside manner and greeted me each morning before 6am to let me know what my labs were and what the plan of the day would be..always keeping me informed and asking if I had any needs. I felt well cared for- and was!

Both Dr Puri and his staff are Timely , courteous, thorough and thoughtful. He has been My brother in law’s hospital Dr. at Winter Park. I really appreciate the continuity of care.

Good doc but doesn't accept any HMO's on the marketplace. The other doc in his office accepts several HMO's. If you have to get your insurance from the marketplace (Obamacare) you will want to look for another good doc.

Dr. Puri has been my primary doctor for about 20 years, and I could not be more pleased. He is extremely knowledgeable and is very patient, and he always answers all of my questions. I think he is awesome!

If you are looking for a good doctor for hospital visits only then Dr. Puri gets great reviews from everyone I have spoken to.. However, DO NOT use the University Medical Center on Semoran. The office staff are rude and inconsiderate. The manager makes policies and procedures that are not differentiated based on individual need and is not accessible or a problem solver....there is a pattern of not seeing patients on time (no not just when there are emergencies but consistently) .

he saved my husband's life 11 years ago. We see him frequently due to many medical conditions. He takes as much time as necessary and refers us to great specialists when necessary. When my husband was hospitalized in December, he was there daily, and he called me personally about a week before my husband died, to tell me that the pneumonia was unresponsive to the drugs, and that the cancer had spread throughout his body. It gave me a chance to prepare. A kind and patient man.
