Dr. J is an outstanding physician! I am incredibly grateful to have found such an exceptional cardiologist. From my first visit, I felt welcomed and cared for, almost as if I was part of a family. His compassion and dedication truly shine through in his practice. He is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but he also takes the time to ensure I have a clear understanding of my cardiac health. His care plans have given me confidence and eased my stress significantly. Talking with him feels like a conversation with a trusted family member, and I always look forward to my appointments. I feel blessed to be his patient and cannot recommend him highly enough. He is by far the best cardiologist I've ever seen!

My condition is rare and complicated. Dr J is one of the few doctors knowledgeable about the unique contributors to my illness. He asks all the right questions and listens carefully to my responses which I feel is crucial to developing a health plan and receiving the proper care.

I had gone to a recommened heart clinic and cardiologist in Tucson. What a let down. Poor communication, no specific review of results, no responses to emails or my anwers. The clinic and cardiologist were not focused on the patient or patient concerns. There had to be change.Fortunately my reviews led me to Dr. J (how is referred to by staff and patients). What an amazing difference. He is patient and medical issue focused, provides clear explanations, elicits questions, has outstanding medical data and information analysis skills. Most importantly, I feel safe with his care and concern. I feel he is focused on my issues despite the 100's of patients he must see. He is special, I am fortunate.

During my visit Dr. J was very thorough. Very compassionate, cared about my health. Didn’t look at me as just another person but as his patient an important patient. Also a sense of humor that was much appreciated in my circumstance. Highly recommend him.

I am a former cardiovascular ICU nurse and internal medicine, geriatric nurse practitioner, who previously went to another cardiology team in Tucson. There, the primary cardiologist and electrophysiology cardiologist were dismissive of my symptoms, one questioning whether I was having anxiety even when I showed them my EKG readings from my Kardia Card. Then my maternal cousin and brother both died, one while walking and my brother, while talking on the phone. Suddenly these doctors couldn't order diagnostics fast enough but they were not thorough. I found Dr. J through a friend's recommendation. He listened. He had me wear a Holter monitor for a month, not just 48 hours. He ordered a cardiac MRI, repeat CT of the heart, blood tests, and an angiogram. All of this yielded a very positive outcome and a referral to another electrophysiology cardiologist who put adjusted my medications appropriately. Many thanks to Dr. J and staff for professionalism, kindness, and expertise.

My cardiologist referred me to Dr. J to review and discuss my echo findings in anticipation of a future catheter ablation. Dr. J was well prepared and very engaging as he answered my questions and responded to my concerns. His knowledge of the advantages and limitations of cardiac imaging techniques is impressive, and he is a skilled listener and communicator. Dr. J took great care to consider the nuances of my case, and learn about me as an individual before agreeing to an action plan. I feel incredibly fortunate to have made his acquaintance.

There was a ‘suspicion’ I had a heart issue and I was referred to “Dr. J”. I’m glad I was! He not only interpreted the MRI and CT scan accurately (confirmed by an angiogram) but he made the process comfortable by explaining clearly and using non-medical terminology when needed. I will need open-heart surgery but I trust that it is the appropriate treatment for my condition and I trust Dr. J’s recommendation of heart surgeon. Would I recommend Dr. J? 100%

Wow, what can I say about Dr. J? THE BEST CARDIOLOGIST I HAVE EVER MET! My 22 year old daughter and I have both seen him. He takes his time listening to you and makes sure he is the one who reads any tests done so he can explain them to us. I love the fact that every year he goes out of this Country and helps those that have no way to see a heart doctor. I have never felt in safer hands and know when he tells me I'm ok, I'm ok! My daughter was vaping and he was the one who got her to stop!! Even sent her a text saying he was so proud of her for doing it! WHAT DOCTOR HAS EVER EVER DONE THAT EXTRA STEP! No matter where he takes his practice I will always follow and I believe all of his patients feel the same way.
