Although Dr Solanki is good his staff is awful. I've been waiting over 3 weeks for them to call my pharmacy with a new rx. I have called the office 4 times and actually went in and spoke to a person and still no call to my pharmacy. This is unacceptable and certainly not professional.

Not impressed
Terrible patient skills, does not follow through with what needs to be done. Have been trying to get a prescription filled for over a week that is for a life threatening condition. Pharmacy has sent 7 request and I have called 4 times. You sit on hold for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone! This is by far the worst Doctor I have ever had . He Seemed a bit disoriented the last visit and didn’t even know why I was there to be seen. I can’t believe how incompetent the experience has seemed. Will not be seeing him again.

No communication
The Dr was very thorough explaining EKG results along with testing and medication he was ordering. 8 days later no prescription has been sent to the pharmacy. I have left two messages and called the office twice. I have had zero contact in regards to the stress test and echo. I understand it's the holidays but I had a sleep test ordered by another physician yesterday and was contacted today.

He was abrupt with me. No time to talk to you.
My first visit he told me I had an abnormal EKG-then was leaving the room. Said we would talk about it next visit. I was in shock! I demanded he return to the room and discuss his findings but REFUSED!! How can you do that to someone? He never went in with another patient during the 45 minutes I remained in the office as I heard him at the front desk talking. He scheduled a holter monitor which the staff did not know how to hook up and after 30+ minutes finally left me alone with it so I read the book & set it up correctly. Sad day indeed! I’m a disabled, but was a Certified Medical Asst for over 20 years. To say the least I refused to go back to see him-transferring to Dr Cary Dellock in the same practice-with whom I am very happy.

Well, this Specialist shows up in ER at Capital Regional Medical Center and says I need a battery of tests. Never tells me what each test is or worse, in a full day, fails to communicate to me what the results were. The next morning still uncontacted by a MD in his practice or even a hospital MD, and according to the nurse, with some tests pending that PM which would require me to stay another day, I checked myself out of the hospital. No one has contacted me with test results; the net result is a day in the hospital and no idea what an MRI, blood tests (many) or monitor strapped to me indicated. I might as well stayed home for all the good this MD did. Still likely have the issue and no idea what caused it. Nonexistant communication with patients - it's been years since I have dealt with any MD who so completely failed to communicate with me and left me vulnerable to whatever caused me to faint twice within a short time - NOT RECOMMENDED.

Dr. Solanki spends a surprising amount of time with his patients answering questions and explaining answers. I like that his office is not overflowing with patients, as has been my experience in other offices.

I would not recommend this Dr. I had a followup appointment and the Dr only told me the results of the stress test. Dr Solanki never gave me any results of the echo, prescribed a blood pressure med asked me for blood test to be done a week after the new med and I was not given paperwork for the labs. I had to call back requesting the echo results and ask for lab slip. The telephone recording on their phone is crazy long mentioning every Dr in the practice and what their specialty is. I was on the phone for over 7 minutes trying to get through. Whenever I have been in the office their no patients waiting.
