I was very impressed with Dr. Kakar. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable.
He explained my condition and treatment thoroughly. I definitely chose the right sleep doctor to continue my sleep apnea journey. His staff was also great, being courteous, helpful and fun!

I saw Dr. KaKar twice after that I never saw him during my appointments. He always had an assistant talk to me or prescribe me something and I had at least 12 appointments over the last 7 years (because he’s the only sleep doctor in our area) the final straw was how rude his front desk was after telling me I couldn’t do my appointment (after taking a Über to get there) because I owed $65 dollars... After they’ve made Thousands off of me they wouldn’t see.

I had an appointment with the P. A. at this doctors office at 9am this morning.
At 9:50 am I had to stick my head outside of the examine room and say: "hey my appointment time was 9 am, it's now 9:50 am and I have other appointments today. Y'all are making me late for the remainder of my day."
The P.A. was suppose to check on the prices of two prescriptions and call in one for the lowest price drug. Well, the pharmacy filled a script for over $300, for a 30-day supply. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE!

It's unfortunate when a good doctor has horrible staff. Why keep an office in Dallas if you don't staff it? I arrived for an appointment and found 4 people standing outside a locked office. They never even opened.

I saw this doctor only once, and then I was palmed off onto a series of "medical assistants." When I tried to contact him, I was told that he had no voicemail, so he remains unreachable once you are in his practice. His staff at the Plano office are generally incompetent, and do not live up to their promises. I have been trying to get my prescription for a sleep med refilled for weeks now, and they have managed to screw it up and be non-responsive.

Best place for pediatrics. My children love it at Dallas Sleep. Dr. Kakar is absolutely great with kids. His assistant Josh is extremely helpful. Their team really makes you feel at home. The night techs were so accomodating. Take your kids here and you wont be dissapointed :) As a mother if 3 it is my duty to relay this to other parents so that they can have the same experience and help for their children as well.
