Waste of time
Have had 2 visits with Dr. Ghaity and will NOT be going back. Wait time for both visits was one a half hr to two hr wait. I was referred by my MS doctor due to blurred vision, headaches, etc. He never addressed any of these issues. I had bloodwork between visits. He never told me anything. Both visits with him lasted only 10 minutes. Extremely frustrating since making the two a half hr trip. I will not be going back!

Terrible bedside manner and incompetent
My mom was visiting from the UK and therefore had no health insurance. She paid $250.00 to see Dr Ghaiy and it turned out his nurse took all the history from her . He walked in, never addressed her by her name, never asked to clarify her symptoms recorded by the nurse, just barely examined her eye and spent a total of five minutes with my mom to arrogantly tell us the same diagnosis we were told by another neurologist four years ago. He stated that she would need an MRI and his terribly patient- unfriendly office would call us to set it up. Three business days later no one has called us and this doctor with the bedside manner of a cardboard box has not reached out to us. It’s so disheartening that a doctor can be so bad and it’s unimportant how long he’s been in practice or what his specialty is.

Today was a possible surgical visit, but I didn’t need it. I like Dr. Ghaiy and feel if I needed it, he would have done well. My only complaint was the hour wait. My first visit didn’t have a long wait. Perhaps on surgical days one could be asked to come later if he is running behind. I would definitely see him again.

He seems to have very little concern for patients care. He's indecisive regarding diagnosis. Stop prescribing needed medication without reasoning. He refused testing for glaucoma which is paid for by my insurance that was recommended by another ophthalmologist because I showed signs of the illness. I also have family history of the disease and a variety of vision problems.

Unimpressed. Felt rushed and like a number even though there was only one other patient there. Dr was just ok, seemed to be not very happy to answer my few questions, maybe insulted that I even questioned his recommended treatment. Drove a very long way to get run of the mill eye dr when I thought a neuro ophthalmologist was the best of the best. I would rate the practice and dr as fair to midland.

Upon entering the office we were greeted by a very nice and helpful receptionist. She was very helpful in helping me with the paperwork. As we sat, briefly, the nurse who called us back was very patient which Bobby as he is vison impaired and has to move slowly. She was very helpful in helping him with the eye machine as he had to place his chin on the disc in front of the machine. Dr. Guaita was very friendly and very up front with us about Bobby’s condition. We were very pleased with the way the office conducted its business.

Diagnosed with Optic Nerve inflammation. Prognosis was bleak. Rather then offer treatment options, this Doctor wanted to run bloodwork to rule out all that may have caused this to begin with. Went to another doctor for second opinion.

He was nice. Has a sfaff issue. Left 2 separate messages neither returned. Needed to get off meds he prescribed but no call back. No call back regardinvg brain and eye MRI. Instead of apologizing when staff did call back I got "attitudes" Had to find another provider. Only reason they even called was because my situation could be verg serious and physician that referred me wasn't happy when they followed up with me and nothing was done do their office called them
