I want to thank Dr. Raj Satkunasivam and his team for being so understanding, patient and thoughtful on 11/7/24 with my father Philip Kevin and myself! Y’all have given my father, family and I hope when we were lost and confused. I never imagined leaving MD Anderson because of being a hospital for cancer but Dr. Raj Satkunasivam is so much more qualified then the doctor we had at MD Anderson and his team is also top notch! I even tried switching drs at MD Anderson but they wouldn’t help me! Anyone looking for a Urologic Oncologist please look no further! This man is who you need! Don’t let the name of a hospital deter you for any reason! I had no idea they treated cancer. I also want to thank Dr. Michael Liss at UCSD Urology formally at MD Anderson for telling me Houston Methodist had a cancer wing and you had a friend/s that practiced there. I didn’t have a name but to my father and I’s surprise Dr.Raj knew both my dads Urologist and Urologic Oncologist in San Diego. His Urologist was Dr.Rajs resident and he knew Dr. Liss as well! Small world God sealed the decision to change hospitals by blessing us with Dr.Raj!

Good doctor. TERRIBLE staff.
Response times from testing are abysmal. Communication is bad. Consideration for patients by staff is laughable. Use Dr. Raj only if you can bear this, on top of your disease.

After waiting for two months, my scheduled appointment with Dr Raj came. I arrived to Sunnybrook Hospital, & headed to his receptionist to sign in, she was rude, impolite and disrespectful. I told her immediately to cancel my appointment indicating this to her behavior. She did not try to apologize. surprisingly, as I was leaving I realized that Dr Raj was standing behind me and he has seen how she treated me and didn't care to interfere. At that moment i realized what type of drs he is...
