I AM A 51 YEAR OLD NURSING PROFESSIONAL SO MY EYES ARE EVERYTHING TO ME IN MY JOB, AND FOR SEVERAL YEARS I HAD A TERRIBLE TIME GETTING VISION CORRECTION THAT WORKED AT MY OPTOMETRY OFFICE, NOTHING EVER MADE ME SEE BETTER. FINALLY I WAS TOLD TO SEE AN OPTHAMOLOGIST & REFERRED TO DR. DUGEL. HE DISCOVERED A CATARACT IN MY RIGHT EYE AND GOT ME INTO SURGERY RIGHT AWAY. 1 MONTH LATER MY VISION IS 20/20 AND I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. HE SAID FOR A YOUNG PERSON I HAD A VERY DENSE CATARACT...NOW I KNOW WHY I COULD NOT SEE. ITS AMAZING TO SEE PERFECTLY AT THE HAND OF MD & EXCELLENT SURGICAL OUTCOME. THANK YOU DR. DUGEL FOR IMPROVING MY QUALITY OF LIFE BY GIVING ME MY SIGHT BACK! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND RETURN TO HIS OFFICE FOR SERVICES. I had cataract surgery on both eyes. I was apprehensive regarding this surgery. But Dr. Dugel thoroughly explained the process to me. It is still amazing to me how much my vision has improved. Dr. Dugel and his staff answered all my questions. I would recommend Dr. Dugel to anyone.

Dr. Dugel is impressive, professional, and attentive. His office staff is dedicated and supportive. I have a condition that required less of one medication due to the effect this can have on my vision. Dr. Dugel was extremely thorough and took it upon himself to recommend a lower dosage, he checked in with my specialist who agreed with him, the new dosage was satisfactory to take care of both of my specific needs. I fully recommend him and his office. Dr. Dugel's office also has an Optometrist so you can get all your needs taken care of at the same practice!

In November and March I had cataract surgery on each eye. Dr. Dugel thoroughly explained what he would do as well as giving me written instructions for both pre-op and post op care. Upon seeing that I now have 20/20 vision in my right eye, he suggested postponing surgery on my left eye so that I could try a contact for reading to mimic what he would do in surgery for mono vision. The surgery was successful and now I have no need for glasses for either eye.

My experience with Dr. Dugel has always been positive. I was referred to him by my primary doctor, Dr. Jane Ekejiuba. I'm very grateful she referred him to me. He has treated me for glaucoma for the last couple of years and my eyesight has remained pretty much the same.

Doctor Dugel is professional, kind and extremely knowledgable in his area of care. For my urgent eye care needs, I was shown respect and understanding and as a new patient it was vital for me to trust my doctor. The friendly office staff fit me into the busy schedule the same day (as well as a follow up visit) and I appreciate all of their efforts to support me. I would highly recommend Dr. Dugel and am very grateful to have been referred by the Urgent Care facility in Manhattan Beach, CA.

On Tuesday, January 24th, I had an appointment with Dr. Dugel. I had seen my primary the day before with my sudden right peripheral vision problem. My primary referred me to Dr. Dugel as well as my good friend. I want to thank Dr. Dugel for his expertise and concern about my eyesight. He was very personable, informative and genuinely cared what I was experienced. He went beyond trying to find a solution. I didn't have a vision problem, but he immediately got on the phone to find me help.

Dr. Dugel recently performed cataract surgery on both eyes. During the pre-surgery visits he explained exactly what was involved with this surgery. He was very reassuring and thorough. The surgery was painless and easy. I am so happy with the outcome. I can now see without glasses. Sorry I waited so long to have this procedure done. I would like to add that everyone in his office was cordial and accommodating.
