Mobarak and his team display rudeness, unprofessionalism, and a glaring lack of empathy. After my ER visit, I was directed to Mobarak, anticipating an orthopedic surgeon but finding a podiatrist instead. Mobarak exudes an air of grandiosity, leaving me feeling powerless in my treatment decisions. He postponed my surgery twice, claiming prioritization of other serious cases over my fifth metatarsal right foot break. Frustrated after the second cancellation, I sought out a provider who offered professionalism, experience, and empathy. Despite my financial concerns, Mobarak insisted on frequent visits, disregarding the strain of copayments and deductibles. These visits merely involved foot wrapping (something I could do myself) and unnecessary X-rays, seemingly for billing purposes. I strongly advise against seeking treatment from him.

No confidence in this doctor. Either they are milking insurance or it’s a mistake waiting to happen. I went in for a right ankle injury from soccer that hasn’t healed, and after waiting for an hour, the MA (not the doc, never saw the doc) came in and gave me orders from the doc, who supposedly reviewed my chart, for orders for a left hip X-ray. I noticed under diagnosis they put left hip pain. When I asked why they wanted that and that I wasn’t there for my hip, they got snippy with me and told me the dr needed to see that and the diagnosis was so the insurance would pay. If the dr needed to see that, for whatever reason, they should have come and introduced themselves and explained why they wanted to check a left hip on a right ankle injury. Then, they wanted me to come back in 3 weeks. Who knows if at that time I’d see the doctor or not. I was very disappointed. I’d rather find a doctor with better bedside manner and who makes sense, and if they don’t make sense at least explain it to the patient. Literally worst patient doctor relationship ever…completely nonexistent. The dr can’t be bothered to introduce them self to a new patient? Explain what they are thinking and why an X-ray for a body part having nothing to do with the injury or pain was ordered with a false diagnosis?
