Saw him in the hospital. Had to wait all day even though he was asked to come first thing in the morning. Total waste of time. Would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

My initial visit was ok. It was after colonoscopy that my experience changed. Dr Cortes told me he would go over my results from colonoscopy at my two week follow up appointment. When I called office to see why one wasn't scheduled, I was told that Dr Cortes said 'if needed'. Not what my husband and I had heard him say. Then I was having concerns after colonoscopy and was told to go to ER. I explained I couldn't do that and asked to have them send order. I called Imaging Center next morning. No order. I called and picked up a Stat order from Dr Cortes office. After CT scan Tracy called and said that after Dr Cortes looks at scan she will call me back. Still waiting. I received a portal email on Feb.16 which I didn't really understand. I feel that this doctors office is overwhelmed and the quality of care is lacking. I'm planning on making an appointment with a different doctor in this office Maybe I will have better results.

Rude
Rushed, didn't listen to my symptoms. Basically said I was crazy. Pretty much laughed at me.

Horrible Experience
Doctor never followed up on failures of his office and submitted lab orders a week after appt. And then, order was incomplete. One failure after another. Worst medical experience I have ever had. No one in office follows up.

No followup call on cat scan results, I picked up results and called them. Five days after scan. Refused to give any directions on who to see for followup needed since it was out of his scope. Only offer was to send results which Tracy was told we had, to primary care physician a thousand miles away.
