Rude, abrasive, Unprofessional
Terrible! I went once and never went back. I saw her for hypothyroidism. She told me that my thyroid was dead, and there was nothing that could be done. Very unprofessional and uncaring. I definitely do not recommend her.

Horrible
She is rude, short, unconcerned and gives terrible advice. When I said that Wegovy was making me horribly sick, she just replied 'that means its working'.

Not Interested
Dr. Relwani spent less than 5 minutes with me as a new patient. It was a total waste of my time going to see her. I’ve never met ANYONE LESS INTERESTED than she. I would like my time and co-pay back. My PCP needs to know she is just a “body”, probably became a Doctor because her parents wished it so. Sorry, if anyone else has to wait 3 months to see her….you might as well talk to yourself!

The worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. I will never go back. Dr. Relwani talked down to me the entire appointment, disregarded all of my concerns and was very condescending. She insinuated that I didn’t need the appointment and was wasting her time. Instead of actually trying to get to the root cause of my what I had going on she just suggested I take more nsaids.

I had been under the care of this doctor for several years. Her bedside manner was horrible and she also delegates too much to the massive team that she works for. I would not recommend this practice or this doctor in any case.

I don't even know where to start. Was one of the rudest doctors -- actually, one of the rudest people in general -- I've ever met. It's like she went way out of her way over and over again to be a horrible person, when I was nothing but polite to her. She also created fake medical records in my account describing conditions I did not have and missing the conditions I did have, and when I inquired about it, she said she "could not change it." It also took more than 6 months to get an appointment because she canceled twice at the last minute.

An excellent physician
Dr. Relwani has treated me for the last ten years, and worked patiently and meticulously to find the right medication and dosage for me when stock medications were not sufficient. My condition has been well controlled since then. She is highly competent and knowledgeable, professional and empathetic, and has always promptly answered my questions and concerns via email between visits. She is one of the finest doctors I have to see and I've recommended her to various friends and relatives over the years.

Unpleasant experience
I had a very poor experience with Dr. Relwani. Treated me very disrespectfully. Unsympathetic, condescending, and uncaring. Although she is undoubtedly highly intelligent, her attitude toward me was reprehensible.

Disappointing. I meet Dr. Relwani a month ago. She seemed to lack any bedside manner-not personable or compassionate and didn't show any interest in getting to know me or learn about my medical and social history. She changed my med without asking me, reviewing benefits, or comparing to the one I had been taking for 20 years. Her exam was brief. I was told to email via portal in 2 weeks to let her know how I was doing and f/u appt in 2 months. I emailed her as instructed but she was out of the office on vacay. When she returned, I described my symptoms and she schedule another visit (only 1 month later)-office didn't even call to ask what would work in my schedule. Visit was a waste of time, she only needed to draw labs. She made a hypothetical plan that the dosage of meds needs to be tweaked if labs are abnormal. There was no exam and seems like she scheduled visit so she could bill me. Easily could have had lab visit with a nurse call to discuss results. Unfriendly &condescending.

I believe she's very smart and competent, but lacking in bedside manner. If you ask a question about something you think is related - she just says, "it's not connected to your condition". Her time with you is short, and she's done. It may be her personality; short on words, but I trust her ability to treat my condition.

Dr. Relwani diagnosed me with a very rare condition. I had gone to many other endocrinologists and they could not diagnose it. They did not do all the tests that Dr. Relwani did or think of all the possible problems that Dr. Relwani did. She is the best endocrinologist I have ever seen and she is also very nice and will answer any questions you have without ever rushing you.

I laugh reading the reviews that discuss her bedside manner. She is not going to coddle you because she's a straight shooter but for the years she's been my doctor she's gotten me through my biopsies to surgery to after treatment. She has seen me cry and be afraid and has never been ugly or lacked compassion. She's just not for the overly sensitive. But she definitely knows what she's doing. I'd rather a doctor who knows what they're doing than one that's just nice.

I have seen Dr. Relwani twice. The first time I felt like she was a little cold, but I wanted to try her out again. I visited her office for a second time, this week, and it was even worse. Dr. Relwani barely made eye contact, was very dismissive of my symptoms, and also pushed our follow up off for three months. A 3 month follow up after blood work and a MRI schedule seems unprofessional. I will not go back.

After reading about her credentials, I was hopeful about being under her care. However, I was very disappointed in Dr Relwani. She seemed indifferent and did not offer much information about my condition. I tried a second appointment to give the benefit of the doubt and it proved to be as frustrating as the first. Every question I asked was met with a terse reply and indeed she seemed bored to be there. Will not return.

We had hoped to receive a survey from Piedmont about the experience with Dr Relwani but unfortunately did not. There aren’t enough character spaces here to get into the lack of professionalism. Terribly dismissive bedside manner. If you’re in the market for an endocrinologist look somewhere else.

I have been a patient of Dr. Relwani for over four years, particularly after thyroid surgery, and she is great. She is very professional and thorough, and listens to her patients. I tend to be an involved patient and do my research and like to know what my options are and make my decisions. Dr. Relwani is always supportive and listens to my input and needs. I like working with her to find what works best for me as an individual; not many doctors are like that and I appreciate her approach!
