Dr. Rachel Danis, MD

I saw Dr. Danis for egg freezing at RMA Brooklyn. She was very thorough and explained everything clearly - I learned a lot and was very clear on the process and procedure. She was also very responsive to any messages I sent and generally the practice ran on time (sometimes the morning monitoring appts took more time but it depends on how many people were there and what time I got there). I felt comfortable with her and she was very open and approachable for any questions I had. She checked in with me after my procedure and I know I can reach out to her at any time with questions.

Dr. Danis has zero compassion. Extremely negative and dismissive. A little TOO factual and frequently quotes statistics that are not in the patient’s favor to try and push IVF as a first approach. She is NOT open to the patient’s ideas or concerns whatsoever. I felt extremely taken advantage of and in very bad hands. Although she may be appear textbook intelligent, she unfortunately lacks in bedside manner, which is needed in such a sensitive field of infertility. Would NOT recommend. This incredibly unpleasant and disheartening experience has led me to seek care elsewhere.
